Beskrivelse
Vi tager dig med til at opdage Assisi-bakkerne, og sammen vil vi gå på jagt efter trøfler, naturens eneste og mest værdifulde produkt. Vores hunde vil vise dig deres færdigheder, og vi vil afsløre alle hemmelighederne bag dette berømte "sorte guld" på jorden. En gåtur gennem skoven og stierne vil give dig mulighed for fuldt ud at opleve det unikke forhold til naturen og med vores hunde, Lord og Lea, som vil komme til dig med lette dufte, skjulte spor og sammen med dem vil du være den, der graver trøflerne op af jorden og afdækker dem. Du vil blive fortalt om historien, terrænerne og de forskellige måder at søge på. Du vil tilbringe to timer i absolut harmoni og ro, og baseret på deltagerne og deres alder eller andre faktorer kan vi sammen beslutte længden og sværhedsgraden af ruten.

We had a beautiful afternoon roaming the gorgeous hills of Assisi with Samuele and his very cute & talented pups! A super fun, easy, engaging and informative experience, we learnt a lot about truffles and thoroughly enjoyed watching the dogs sniff them out and dig them up. Samuele was an amazing guide, he really has so much knowledge about truffle hunting and the chemistry and ecology involved, explaining things like soil pH and the symbiotic relationship between truffles and tree roots. He was also very patient and kind with the kids on the tour, which was lovely to see. I would highly recommend this experience, grazie millie Samuele for having us! P.S special shout out to Sam's little brother who joined the tour to help manage the dogs and practice his english! Very well done :)
The two brothers did a fantastic job of explaining the entire truffle culture and habitat. He had a very successful truffle hunt with them and their dogs
Super informative and nice search with Samuele and his adorable dogs, which was also manageable for our 6 and 8-year-old children. In a beautiful setting, we were also very successful and are already looking forward to homemade truffle pasta!
Samuele picked us up in Assisi. The entire experience was second to none. He provided a lot of information about truffles, the dogs, and hunting. It was a fantastic experience in every way. We highly recommend this tour.
Have some shoes they do not mind getting muddy. It’s fun The younger you are the more fun it will be.
Our guide, Samuele, was great and shared so much information, not only about truffles (types, how and where they grow), but also about the area around Assisi and beyond. His dog is still in training, but successfully found a truffle. It was a pleasure to walk in the beautiful hills of Umbria with a local and his pup!
It was a very interesting tour in beautiful natural surroundings. The guide was very nice and very knowledgeable. We had our sons (4 and 7) with us. It was very exciting for them too. We highly recommend the tour.
I spent 2 hours with Samuele and his lovely dog hunting for truffles in the Umbrian countryside very near Assisi. We walked though through olive, oak and ash woods and found 2 black truffles. Samuele is very knowledgeable about truffle hunting and nature. He is the 3rd generation in his family to do truffle hunting and has a liscence. A great Umbrian experience.
Samuele was our guide along with Lordie his dog, and Leah came along too! He told us all about the different types of truffle and why they are prized, how they grow, and where. We learned about different symbiotic plants as well. We walked through brush and woodland, up and down, but it was not taxing. When Lordie found some truffles we were shown how to dig around them and extract them from the ground. And we got to keep the treasure 😋 It was a really great experience which we totally recommend 👌😁
