Vi tilbyder et køretøj med aircondition med en engelsktalende chaufførguide. Ikke inkluderet entrébilletter. Vandringen er 4 km og tilbage til Baker's Falls - 2 km. Tilbage til hovedindgangen ca. 3,5 km. Den 9,5 km lange rundtur tager afslappet tre timer.

Forlad hotellet omkring kl. 05.30 og tag ud på en trekkingudflugt til Horton Plains. Horton Plains danner et bølgende plateau på over 2000 meter højt, som hovedsageligt består af græsarealer spækket med skovpletter med noget usædvanlig højtliggende vegetation. Sletterne er oftere kun synlige før kl. 10.00 på grund af den kraftige tåge, som opsluger området. Det mest unikke ved Horton Plains er "Verdens ende". Dette er en ren og skær 1.000 fod lodret skråning, som besøgende myldrer for at se. Horton Plains var engang jagtpladsen for Mr. Farr, en tidligere britisk guvernør, som i dag er hjemsted for sjældne arter af fauna og flora.

This isn’t a tour in the sense that you might expect. It is a taxi service to Horton Plains that will wait for you whilst you do the walk solo or in your group. I found the text to be misleading. However the driver was great. Any questions I had on the way there and back were answered and his driving was superb especially given the cloudy conditions. So five stars for the driver but only three for the ‘tour’. The use of the word tour suggests that the driver/guide walks the route with you, the same as the other parties walking had.
Absolutely incredible. Early morning was the best as we got the hike over before the heat of the day. It was a good 3 hr hike as we saw bakers falls, world end and mini world end and stopped to take lots of photos
Scam, there is no guide all they do is pick you up and take you back. the park entrance is $25 not 3500rs and we didn’t get our free water. Just get a taxi there and back and walk to worlds end yourself it’s very easy. Waste of money and i still haven’t got a refund.

The landscape was amazing, the driver Lakmal was beyond exceptional. Punctual, friendly, and committed to make my experience enjoyable. The agency is responsive and efficient. I strongly recommend it!
We really enjoyed the tour of the national park. Our driver and guide Prasanna picked us up on time, drove safely and was able to tell us all kinds of things about the national park and wildlife. Besides many bird species like the Sri Lankan White Eye we also saw the "Bear Monkey" (Purple-faced Langur) and many other great animals. We also saw the national bird of Sri Lanka! Our guide Prasanna was really nice! Overall, the tour was definitely to recommend!
I visited Sri Lanka during the 1st week of February 2022. I did all the planning by myself and only booked few experiences through few travel companies in Sri Lanka.
