Privat tur i Óbidos, Mafra og Sølvkysten

Bare jer 2, på jeres egen private tur i en åben cabriolet, besøg den smukke middelalderby Obidos. Du vil have mulighed for at undre dig over de smalle gader og kigge i butikkerne. Du kan gå langs væggene med en fantastisk udsigt over det omkringliggende landskab og afslutte dit besøg med at drikke traditionel Ginjinha de Óbidos (surkirsebærbrandy), som kan nydes forskellige steder, helst drikkes fra en lille chokoladekop. Efter at have gået i Obidos gader, kan du blive der til frokost, ELLER, med taget nede, køre ud til Obidos-lagunen og frokost ved den smukke strand Foz de Arelho. Nyd en frokost på en af de mange caféer og gå langs sandstrandene. Når frokosten er overstået, kører vi til byen Mafra med dets storslåede palads. Brug tid på at vandre og være i ærefrygt over dets overdådighed, før du nyder en kop kaffe i byen. Så er det tid til at vende tilbage til din bolig i Lissabon eller Cascais/SIntra via kystvejen.

Middelalderbyen Óbidos er en af de mest maleriske og velbevarede i Portugal. Du finder et velbevaret slot inden for murene og en labyrint af gader og hvide huse, som er en fornøjelse at slentre rundt i. We had such a great experience last year with Lain, that we returned again this year! Best way to start our vacation - pick up day one with Lain for a tour. We enjoyed Obidos this time around and drop off in Sintra at the end of the day. Another wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Iain provided us with more than we expected. Yes, we were provided a timely and courteous driving experience, picking us up at a convenient location and delivering us to our daily destination. However, it was everything in between that was very special. Iain personalized our experience to ensure we would maximize our time with what we would enjoy most. Moreover, he made recommendations we wouldn't have thought of or chosen ourselves, but they were all great. He was a fantastic guide, and I could not recommend spending a day or more with Iain more.

We went to Óbidos, Foz de Arelho and Buddha Eden Gardens. Iain was the perfect guide for us. Explained all about each place and answered any questions. Really lovely guy and perfect guide. Iain picked us up from our hotel at the time agreed and our adventure began. From start to finish, it was what we wanted and so much more. Had a coffee stop in Óbidos, lunch in Foz de Arelho and Iain allowed us to explore Buddha Eden Gardens together. Has given us some great ideas for future trips and I will definitely return and Iain I hope will be free on our dates to help us explore more of the beauty Portugal has to offer. Ian was a delightful and patient companion as we toured Obidos, the Silver Coast and Mafra. He allowed us to set the pace, and encouraged us to take coffee breaks, to wander in and out of shops and churches. We had a delightful lunch at a restaurant facing the lagoon and ocean on the silver coast, and he gave us plenty of time to visit the palace and basilica at Mafra. The entire day was splendid!

An excellent experience travelling the area with Iain. He has an excellent local knowledge and speaks the language well. His tours are flexible and can be designed to personal requirements. Thoroughly recommended and he also knows great places to eat, which suited us fine!

Went on a full day tour from Lisbon. It was an exciting trip and I would highly recommend Iain Bendrey from portugaltours4two.com. We spent a few amazing hours at the medieval town of Obidos before being driven in a convertible along the western coast stopping at Boca da Inferno, Guincho, Cabo da Roca, Praia Grande e Azenhas do Mar, Cascais and returning to Lisbon. Besides the feeling of being in a walled-up medieval town with a castle, Obidos certainly has many interesting little shops to try out their amazing Ginja de Obidos (cherry liquor) and freshly squeezed orange juice. Iain showed us many natural hidden gems along the coastal route and that made the trip all the more worthwhile. The picturesque beauty of nature along the route was breathtaking. Do capture the best of Portugal with Iain as he patiently drives you on a safe journey and takes you to the best spots to admire.

Enjoyed the medieval charm of Obidos, the beauty of the surrounding countryside, lunch on the beach, and the amazing pile of bricks that is Mafra. Iain was a wonderful and friendly guide. Plus I enjoyed tooling around the Portuguese countryside in a convertible!
