Du vil stoppe ved den schweiziske middelalderlige by Rapperswil, der også kaldes "Roses by". Over seks hundrede varianter af roser blomstrer her fra juni til oktober og gør det hele til et drømmeland. Her kan man også beundre det charmerende slot sammen med søerne Zürich og Obersee. Slottet blev bygget i begyndelsen af det 13. århundrede på en stenet bakketop. Det er omgivet af det nuværende kirkegårdskapel og det tidligere Stadtmuseum for Rapperswil.
Det vigtigste vartegn i denne by er selve Vaduz Castle, som er prinsen og Libertysteins officielle opholdssted. Det blev bygget i det 12. og gennemgik en større restaurering i det 20. århundrede. Desværre er det lukket for de offentlige øjne, da den fyrste familie stadig bor der. St. Florins katedral, regeringsbygningen og rådhuset er også bemærkelsesværdige seværdigheder. De viser forskellige stilarter og perioder med arkitektur.
Derefter fortsætter vi til Maienfeld, hvor den velkendte Heidi-landsby ligger. Derfor kaldes det også Heidiland. Our guide, Payam, was so knowledgeable of the history and culture of the area. He was a wonderful, gracious host who was so low-key but also lovely company to spend the day with. He was flexible and followed our lead. We had an amazing day enjoying the nature and beauty outside of Zurich while my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. We are so grateful.
Bogdan was a very professional driver and tour guide, he was very informative about the history of the place and when requested took us the scenic route to Liechtenstein. We had a very enjoyable day and you will not be disappointed.

No trip to Switzerland is complete without getting to the small country of Lichtenstein 😀. And we were very lucky to have Payam as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about all of Switzerland and many other places around the world. We had a great day seeing more of lake Zurich, visiting Lichtenstein and then experiencing Heidiland - move over Shirley Temple!

The countryside and lakes were beautiful and Vaduz was fascinating with its ongoing national festival. Seeing Liechtenstein was a first and a treat.

I took my mother to Zurich and planned this trip to see more of the country and another country. Our guide Paul was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. He made sure we were comfortable and that our trip was memorable. This is a great trip to take that allows you to visit another country and also see some of Switzerland's beautiful countryside.

Mr.Milto was our guide he was so amazing. He was so patient and friendly. Did not rush us at all through out the day. We are here on our honeymoon and truly felt like celebrities on this tour. He took us to breath taking spots with great views, hot chocolate per my wives request, and hidden gems along the route for all the photo opportunities. We will never forget this time we had today. Thank you so much. Highly recommend going on this tour and if you get lucky having him as your guide.
You can book this tour only if you expect a private driver with no flexibility. Not more and not less. Our guide neither spoke good English nor had any knowledge about the area. If we just had rented a car and driven to the places ourselves, it would have been a lot cheaper and we would have learnt the same things (by looking things up in Wikipedia). Also we would have been able to stay at places as long as we wanted. For example we had to leave Heidiland with a rush and we couldn't look into all the houses, despite having bought the tickets for it. Also I highly recommend to have eaten breakfast already before starting the trip. There are no coffee breaks. Instead the guide taps notoriously with his foot, if you get coffee from somewhere. We were also forced to eat dinner in Heidiland were the food was not that good. One person in our group wanted to look into a shop in Liechtenstein, which was also not possible. So basically we hopped from one stop to another and at the places we we're barely told anything - we were even not told how long we could stay at each stop. Given the price this is a rip -off.
Beautiful, sunny weather and Pasho, our knowledgeable and personable tour guide, made for a perfect day. From pick up to drop off, our expectations were exceeded. If you want to visit Lichenstein and see some of the surrounding area, this is the tour to take.
