Vi henter dig meget tidligt om morgenen og begynder en 1 times kørsel til Pamplona. Under rejsen vil din guide give dig en introduktion af regionens historie, lokale traditioner og hvad du kan forvente i løbet af dagen. På ingen tid er du ankommet til Pamplona, hovedstaden i Navarra. Resterne af byens turbulente historie kan findes næsten rundt om hvert hjørne. Pamplona blev grundlagt på et stort plateau af romerne i det 1. århundrede f.Kr., fra det 4. til det 9. århundrede var det under kontrol af vestgotere og muslimer, og i middelalderen blev det hovedstad i kongeriget Navarra. I dag er Pamplona en universitetsby, der er berømt for de farverige fejringer af San Fermin.
Fra parkeringspladsen går vi direkte til stedet i den historiske del, hvor tyreløbet finder sted. De beboere, hvis huse tilfældigvis står langs ruten, lejer deres private altaner til besøgende under festlighederne. På denne måde er vi i stand til at nyde den bedste udsigt over løbeturen! Ejerne vil ikke kun lukke os ind i deres lejlighed, men også forberede os en morgenmad! Tyreløbet kaldet 'encierro' er en spektakulær begivenhed, der involverer hundredvis af mennesker, der løber foran en flok tyre ned ad de smalle gader i den historiske del af Pamplona. Løbet ender i tyrefægterarenaen, hvor tyrene ville blive holdt indtil eftermiddagens tyrefægtning. I løbet af denne tid vil guiden forklare historien om tyreløbene og alle de fejringer, der finder sted under festivalen.
Efter at have set begivenheden forlader vi vores balkon og går hele vejen (omkring en halv mil) fra Corrales de Santo Domingo, hvor løbet starter til tyrefægterarenaen, hvor løbet slutter. Under San Fermin ser byen utrolig ud. Festen stopper ikke i en uge, men for mange lokale er morgenen det vigtigste og mest behagelige tidspunkt på dagen. Ligesom de vil vi slutte af i en af cafeerne til en lækker portion churros med varm, tyk chokolade! Omkring 11:00 om morgenen vil vi være klar til at tage tilbage og nyde en naturskøn vej hele vejen til San Sebastian!

Fantastic once in a lifetime experience. Friendly and fun tour guide, lovely host for balcony viewing. Picked up from hotel and taken to centre of Pamploma. Great view of bull run.

Our trip to the first day of San Fermín festival exceeded all expectations. Seeing the bulls run was truly a once in a lifetime experience and for that morning we felt a part of the celebration. The logistics were flawlessly executed - Our guide navigated the morning of San Fermín with perfect efficiency and expertise. We parked a block away from the balcony and went directly into a local families apartment who made a traditional Basque breakfast and kept the coffee flowing all morning. After the run we walked the city and the guides took us to key spots and took awesome pictures. What truly elevated the trip was the conversation throughout the tour. Our guide was candid and passionate about the Basque Country. He let us guide the discussion and shared personal stories and cultural insights that you would never get in a group tour. Their enthusiasm was infectious, their care for the group was evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable, safe, and having an incredible time. If you're considering a trip to San Fermín, especially from San Sebastián, we cannot recommend this tour and these guides highly enough. They transformed a bucket-list event into an unforgettable adventure!

We had a great time. Mikel was an excellent guide. I would recommend this to anyone with kids wanting to experience it.
One of the most amazing and exciting experiences of my life!! My family ranging from seniors to teens, were picked up in a luxury van and transported to Pamplona where we were ushered into an apartment with balconies overlooking the longest street of the bull run. We were served a lovely breakfast while our amazing guide, Ernes, explained everything that was going on, so we could have the fullest experience possible. After the run, he took us on a walking tour of Pamplona, and then for churros and champagne on a lively square. During the ride back to our hotel he engaged us the entire time, with history of the Basque culture and more. He was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about Ernes and Ishnaki tours: a warm and knowledgeable individual who's enthusiasm and love of Basque everything was infectious. We could have NEVER experienced the day in Pamplona during San Fermin without this tour, which kept us safe and in all the right places at the right time. 10 out of 10!! Thank you Ernes!!
Amazing experience. Our guide Telmo was fantastic. His knowledge of the area, and communication skills were beyond our expectations. The balcony host family was fantastic and in a perfect location to view the run without worry of injury.
