Privat halvdagstur til Windsor Castle

Jeg elsker at diskutere England fortid & nutid med mine gæster, mens vi rejser til Windsor i min Mercedes. Vi kan tale om selve slottet, eller ethvert andet aspekt af vores lange historie. Ud over at vise skattene på udsigten, vil jeg gerne illustrere yderligere aspekter af slottets historie ved at dele materialer, jeg har forberedt via min tablet, de fremragende lydguider vil tage dig gennem State Rooms & St George Chapel, hvor vejledning er forbudt. I St. Georges Chapel vil du støde på underværket af Englands fineste gotiske mesterværk, absorbere den ubestemmelige atmosfære, som et rum med så meget historie skaber, stå på gravene af nogle af Englands mægtigste konger og betale din respekt til dronning Elizabeth II, som også er begravet der. Efter at have fanget vagtens skift, kan vi vandre langs den nordlige terrasse foran, hvor man kan se Eton College på tværs af Themsen. På vores tilbagevenden til bilen vil vi se nogle af de mere charmerende aspekter af den gamle bydel i Windsor.

Tilbring dagen med at roame Windsor Castle, sæde for det engelske monarki i et årtusinde. Inden for dets mægtige kampvægge står det ikoniske runde tårn og gamle bygninger, der huser nogle af de mest fantastiske statsrum, der nogensinde er skabt. Afhentningssteder og tider
Jeg vil afhente dig direkte fra trinene på dit hotel i en Mercedes. Normale tider er 9.30 for en morgen tur eller middag for eftermiddagen. Vi vil rådgive om billettider og købslinks til dine entrébilletter. Lufthavnstransfer er efter aftale, men er ikke inkluderet i denne tur. London City er dog inden for afhentning zone og jeg er glad for at afhente dig derfra.(parkering gebyrer, normalt £8-£10 gælder)

Mark was outstanding - gave us really good insight to what we were going to see on the way as well us descibing the history of what we were looking at.
We had a great guide in Mark! He knew great photo spots and extra bits of info about Windsor. Travel to and from was all taken care of for us from hotel and back
Mark is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. He greeted us at our hotel in a beautiful Mercedes and our drive to Windsor Castle was most enjoyable. Once we arrived at the castle he led us to the various points of interest and provided expert commentary. Upon the conclusion of our visit to the castle he led us through the charming Windsor High Street back to the car for our return to our hotel. Could not have been better! 🥳🥳🥳
We had a fantastic guided tour that started with our driver/guide Gareth picking us up from our Airbnb. Gareth is extremely professional and personable. The tour of the chapel, state apartments and the grounds was amazing. Gareth was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us at a pace that was sensitive to one of our family member’s mobility challenges. This guided tour was the highlight of our stay in London.
Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and the private transportation was essential given the crowds. We saw all the highlights and had a nice lunch in town. Only negative was we invited our guide to join us for lunch and he started talking politics with us … ugh .., we travelled to get away from that. Anyway we nodded and ignored him. Otherwise a great day.
Our tour at Windsor Castle could not have been better. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant and fun to be with. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has the slightest interest in English history or the royal family.
Gareth our tour driver and guide arrived early and patiently waited for us. Gareth provided excellent information and had an excellent knowledge of all things. He was extremely helpful and very friendly and explained many things on the journey. At the castle he guided us through each section and was able to point out specific. Things we would have missed. He was extremely helpful and patient with my husband who struggled with the walking around the castle. Gareth was very good and waited with us for rest breaks. An absolutely great day out and an excellent tour guide.

Mark was very knowledgeable about Windsor and enjoyable to chat with. He knee all the tricks to make getting there easy, knew how to navigate the crowds and got us home safely. Enjoyable and would recommend.
Great experience with Gareth touring Windsor Castle. He was very knowledgeable and insightful regarding the castle, and took the time to explain everything we inquired about. It was a wonderful experience for me, my wife, and two children, ages 10 & 12.
