Tag dig først gennem Reykjavik-området i retning af Thingvellir National Park. Dette er et fantastisk sted at lære om Islands historie. Du vil nyde at gå mellem de amerikanske og eurasiske tektoniske plader, se smukke vandfald såvel som den originale parlamentsbygning, fødestedet for den islandske regering.
Her vil du have mulighed for at holde en pause, shoppe souvenirs, spise og få kaffe. Eller fortsæt til Gulfoss (Det Gyldne Vandfald). Det er et af områdets smukkeste vandfald og dybe historie. Hvis du kan lide regnbuer, er du næsten sikker på at se en her.
Du vil være på det østligste punkt fra Reykjavik, så vend tilbage hertil og besøg Kerid-krateret. Dette er en fantastisk mulighed for billeder. Du kan nyde det fra kanten eller, hvis du er eventyrlysten, kan du vandre ned til den smukke blå pool i bunden af krateret.

Andres was our tour guide. There was four of us. He picked us up from the Ship terminal at the correct time without any issues. We had requested a modification of out tour and he was glad to do so. Andres was very friendly and professional. He told us about the points of interest that we visited. He also made suggestions of what to see at the different stops. Our tour lasted a little over nine hours and it was well worth the time. Andres is a very good tour guide. We all enjoyed the tour. If you are considering this tour, and it is available, then take it. You will be glad you did. Thanks Andres for a most enjoyable day! Jeff P.
Dear Jeff, We have been in communication long before your arrival. Since we first heard about it on the phone, I knew exactly what I could expect. My feeling and experience with a people wasn´t wrong. You all are really outstanding people. Not only you are experienced in travelling. We had a fabulous 2 days with Andres, visiting both the Reykjanes Peninsula and Golden Circle. Andres has a great knowledge of both Iceland’s history and geography and was happy to flex the arrangements to meet our needs.

Fabulous tour! Pick up at cruise terminal great- we disembarked quite a bit earlier than expected and Andres change time accordingly. He was knowledgeable, customized stops to our interests and weather as well. Fascinating info and history about Iceland. He explained what to expect at Secret Lagoon- the locker room was interesting. He guided us when and where needed, and knew when to let us do our own thing. Hope to do northern lights tour with him on the future. Highly recommend 😎

Andres was an excellent tour guide. His was an informative and well planned tour. We had a wonderful experience seeing the sites of the Golden Circle that included a walk through the tectonic divide, ice cream at a farm (while the cows who produced our tasty treat looked on), relaxing dip into the Old Pool, volcanoe walk, Gullfoss Waterfall. All with explanations and history of the sites we visited! 5 stars!🤗🤗

That day I came back home relaxed and fresh. It is important to say that I have in the majority guests like you. Great tour of the important stops near Reykjavik. Really enjoyed the day. The Secret Lagoon is must visit. Forget the overcrowded and overpriced Blue and Sky. Tour was great value for the money.
Scott, It was a day. Good weather, I noticed you enjoyed and I really feel all the time of tour somehow relaxed. The rason is you were relaxed and interested in nature, history, geology and more. When I read your review, I noticed an error I had made. We didn´t take any pictures together. Pictures are by the time history and it is important even if you would never visit Iceland again. We had a really nice and enjoyable private tour with Andres. We covered all the top natural places to see in the Reykjavík area. Andres provided a good balance between offering history and related stories of each site and free time to explore on our own. There were restrooms available at most stops and a lunch break on our own was scheduled with an interesting story about the owner of the restaurant. We were also blessed with good weather which helped make our day. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you Andres for a lovely day in Iceland.

You also are the kind of people enjoying travelling, wanted to know more about places or history and more than that. Always people with more interests get also more out of the tours. I believe it is not Icelandic-specific. Those kinds of people find something interesting in all countries. We chose Andres for this private tour based on the reviews and were not disappointed: he delivered exactly what we had hoped for...We exchanged several messages in advance that allowed him time to work out a route that included everything on our list (except for one, which turned out to be further away than we realised and will have to wait for next time!) He collected us from the cruise terminal where we disembarked and whisked us off, managing to give a running commentary that blended history, politics, geology and general information about life in Iceland, as well as detail specific to the sights we had highlighted. We did not really concentrate in advance on details such as comfort breaks or lunch, but his experience meant that he could meet our every request. He is definitely a character - a kind soul whose patience and good humour made this adventure truly memorable. Our advice would be to ask as many questions as you like in advance, as well as during the tour...and cross your fingers that, like for us, the weather is kind on the day!!! (Although, even if it does rain, snow or hail, we suspect that Andres will just take that in his stride!)

We exchanged several WhatsApp messages, but it is just to polish tour better and I realized soon traveling with you will be good. About reviews. Thank you for that. As I told you during our tour, in my opinion, there is only one way to do that. All reviews must be authentic as this is the way previous travellers pass message to those upcoming. I am aware some companies are buying reviews, but it works only for a short time than they can shut down. Even those authentic travellers aren´t willing to review, actually a low percentage of them return and write a few words about the tour. What a great tour. The national park, waterfall, crater, and secret lagoon were amazing. The winter landscape made it that much more magical. Our guide Andres made sure that my wife knew we were celebrating her birthday. We would totally recommend the tour and Andres!

Not really new places, but new experience. The birthday of your wife wasn´t just a birthday since it is the big one. I believe that for such an occasion, something extra must be done.
