We (2 Septegenarians) had the pleasure to book a Cape peninsula tour which was customised to suit us and not a timetable! We had a very knowledgeable young lady tour guide Felicity who gave us various options and advice during our very interesting day. We are pretty mobile and access in and out of the vehicle was easy,we travelled along a beautiful scenic route taking in a visit to Groot Constantine vineyard, Simons town where we stopped for coffee. On then to Boulders to see the penguins, continuing after through the Cape National Park where we were fortunate to see Eland. Next stop Cape point with it's fantastic views. We then travelled to Cape point vineyard restaurant for wine tasting (and purchasing) some excellent wines followed by a sumptuous meal.I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant! The finale was a drive along stunning Chapmans peak drive where our driver assisted 2 French hikers onto our vehicle so that they could safely traverse a troupe of Baboons on the road.All of this was managed at our pace and choice,one thing to remember when comparing prices are the various tolls and entrance fees along the way which we were informed when booking.
