Hej der! Jeg er din lokale Cape Town guide, og jeg kan ikke vente med at tage dig med på denne tur, for jeg har mange historier om Cape of Good Hope, som jeg gerne vil dele med dig. Afhentning vil være fra dit hotel, før vi tager til Bo-Kaap, hvor de lysfarvede huse fortæller historier om Cape Towns rige kulturelle fortid. Derfra vil vi gå langs en af verdens mest naturskønne kystruter. Forvent kæbe faldende udsigter som vi langsomt gøre vores vej til Cape af godt håb. Dette område er en del af verdens rigeste plantefamilie og valgfrie vandreture vil blive tilbudt til dig. Vi vil også udforske nogle charmerende kystbyer. I Hout Bay har du mulighed for at tage en kort bådtur ud til Duiker Island for at se Cape Fur Seals. Så i Simon’s Town, vil vi møde de berømte afrikanske pingviner på Boulders Beach. På vej tilbage til Cape Town, afhængigt af vejstrafikken, vil vi passere gennem Muizenberg Beach, der er kendt for sine farverige strandhytter og surfvibe, før du slutter dagen på dit hotel.

Kort efter begyndelsen af turen, før vi forlader byen til kysten. Vi får mulighed for at gøre et hurtigt stop i den historiske Bo-Kaap for at se de lystfarvede huse og opdage hendes lange historie. Din guide vil gå dig rundt, mens du tager billeder og lærer om denne kvarters historie.
Beliggende ved foden af Lion's Head Mountain er en velhavende forstad kaldet Bantry Bay. Meget velkendt for sin vindfri status, har Bantry Bay over 250 dage uden vind om året, hvilket er en stor del i Cape Town i betragtning af moderbyens vindfulde klima.
Gemt højt oppe på bjergsiden ligger et andet overdådigt kvarter kaldet Clifton. Udover den dyre ejendom, er Clifton også kendt for at have nogle af de bedste strande i nærheden af Cape Town. De fire Clifton-strande, der naturligt er opdelt i 4 af granitsten.
Se de smukke Beverly Hills i Cape Town kaldet Camps Bay. Stop kort for at tage billeder og nyde udsigten fra de tolv apostle.
15 minutter fra Camps bay ligger Hout bay. En by, der er omgivet af bjergene og det kolde Atlanterhav. Alle de veje, der fører trafikken her, går over bjergpas. Du skal ikke fortryde, at du efterlod dine pas, når et "Velkommen til Republikken Hout-bugten"-skiltet vises!
Vores rejse vil have en times liggetid ved Hout Bay havn, hvor du kan hoppe på en båd og begive dig ud på en 40 minutters naturskøn rejse til en ø, der er beboet af mere end 5 tusinde kappepelssæler. Du vil se sælerne fra båden, og hvis du måske ikke er ivrig efter at tage på sejlturen, kan du bruge lidt tid på at udforske håndværksmarkedet eller endda tage en 10 minutters gang til Hout Bay Beach. Når vi forlader Hout-bugten, kører vi ind på den verdensberømte Chapman's peak drive. En bjergsidevej lokalt kendt som Chapies. Et ingeniørmesterværk! Chapman's peak drive bugter sig i 9 km langs de gigantiske Chapman's peak bjerge, der ser ud til at falde ned i havet som en lavine. Du vil også have mulighed for at stoppe for at tage billeder og nyde udsigten over Atlanterhavet, klipperne og de hvide sandstrande.
I den sydlige ende af Chapman's peak drive er en Noordhoek farm landsby. De hvidkalkede og stråtækte bygninger fungerer som butikker, der handler som råjuicebutikker, kaffebarer, bageri, restauranter, håndlavet kunsthåndværksbutik og tøjbutikker. Et kort stop for at nyde nogle af disse vil blive tilbudt dig.
Blot 200 m før Cape Point naturreservatet ligger en strudsefarm, hvor gæsterne har mulighed for at kigge forbi langs vejen og tage billeder af Afrikas største fugl.
Cape point naturreservat er hjemsted for det mest sydvestlige hjørne af Afrika (Cape of good hope). Rig fauna og flora gør dette sted til et hotspot for biodiversitet. Du vil være i stand til at nyde udsigten, mens du er i komfort i køretøjet eller endda til fods.
Berømte hjørnet af Afrika. Hvor det kolde Atlanterhav og de indiske oceaner deler fælles grundlag. Cape of Good Hope er dog kun den sydvestligste punkt i Afrika. Vandreture til toppen af Cape gør for stor aktivitet og sightseeing. Cape of Good Hope tegn er også en anden stor attraktion. Mulige forskellige vandrestier vil blive tilbudt dig herfra af din guide.
Gå eller tag en kabelbane (for egen regning) op til Sydafrikas 3. ældste fyrtårn for en 360 graders udsigt over nationalparken. Det gamle fyrtårn blev søsat i 1860 kun for at blive nedlagt 40 år og snesevis af skibsvrag for sent, efter at undersøgelser viste, at dets høje højde udgjorde en stor fare for søfolk omkring kappen, da de ikke kunne se det i overskyet vejr. Et nyt fyrtårn blev siden bygget i meget lavere højde.
Endnu en stille og velhavende by ved den falske bugtkyst. Den viktoriansk byggede Simons by er hjemsted for nogle af de friskeste fiske- og skaldyrsrestauranter, og hvor du kan stoppe i en time og få noget frokost (guiden kan vælge at spise frokost ved Cape Point afhængigt af, hvordan turen går)
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony er hjemsted for tusindvis af truede tuxedo-svømmere, den afrikanske pingvin! Her vil du gå på stranden og tage nærbilleder af en af vores flyvefri fugle. Din guide vil også give dig information om pingvinens aktuelle anliggender.
Muizenberg Beach er også kendt som "The Surfers Corner". Lysfarvede skiftende hytter på stranden gør for en stor fotoshoot. Forudsat at vi har tid og trafikken er rimelig, vil du være i stand til at have dit sidste stop, før motorerne styrer nord for Cape Town for at afslutte en stor sightseeing dag.

Small group van tour around the Cape. We visited the major sites as well as smaller sites. We were picked up from our place to meeting point, and dropped off back to our place at the end. Rodney our guide is a fund of knowledge and a lot of fun. We had a great time and left feeling like we saw everything we needed to see from the Western Cape in a small period of time. The day lasted between 8am-5pm. Great value for the money as well, as hiring just a driver would cost a comparable amount. Felt safe the whole time.

Terrific tour, saw all the major things on my checklist in one go with the best tour guide. Danson was amazing! He spent the full day showing our family around Cape Town and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. This was a great trip to see many of the key sights near Cape Town in one day. I went for the penguins but really enjoyed the Bo Kaap area as well as the scenery at Cape Point. Our guide was lovely and very informative. It's a great tour especially for anyone short on time.

Absolutely incredible way to hit all of the Cape Town highlights! Our tour guide Candy and Driver Litah were awesome! Last minute we were able to change out pick up spot to our hotel and it was seamless. Our guide, Candy, had such a great personality and energy and was extremely knowledgeable about all the stops we made today. She made the whole day entertaining and was very welcoming.
