Robert, the driver, was prompt. As we exited our hotel, we saw the president of Panama , an extra bonus. Robert drives a little fast for my liking. Our guide, Nako, was well educated and versed in biology. We saw 3 spiders and two frogs. As we were tracking we had thunder , lightening, and eventually heavy rain. I felt he could have been a little more considerate to us as he had only one head light for two people. My husband had his own flash light. Once the rain was hard, he did walk with us for the final leg of the trip. What we saw was nice but knowledge should not trump consideration. Check the weather before you leave. This is a once in a travel experience for me. If frogs are your thing, this is definitely for you.

As far as checking the weather, dear, You came to Panama during rainy season and rain was expected… Panama is a tropical country and it rains from May until December… We want for you to see as much as possible but Jungle tours cannot be predicted and you see what is available. Ignacio is a biologist not a magician darling. Nature experiences cannot be predicted or planned because we are only humans and this is an experience 100% relying on nature and we can’t control that… There is no trick under the sleeve looking for animals in their natural habitat. Alex did a wonderful job searching for the nocturnal wildlife of the jungle. Saw many animals we have not seen before. Even found a centipede type glow worm on the trail and the leaf cutter ants had a 4" trail for over a hundred yards working through the night. The porcupine was a great surprise, listening to the owls in the night - it was a great experience. Highly recommended!
Alex is a trained biologist and a we are happy to have him with us so he cab make guests like you happy my dear Mrs Jamie and Mr Wayne. Isn't the jungle at night a completely different world? Certainly, you and Mr. Wayne and you came to explore Panama in a way that not too many do it, in the dark, ready to get onto an unexplored territory. I am very happy we delivered and you were pleased. Fortunately, you were able to spot some wildlife because with this experiences knowledge + luck are the best combination.
