Amazing experience, animals very loved and cared for fully!

Amazing day with Ford and the team. We got to spend a lot of time watching and learning about the elephants. You can tell they really care about the welfare of the animals as everything was lead by the elephants. We did get plenty of up close time to touch and feed them too. The whole day was very well organised. Definitely recommend this trip

Three hours surrounded by friendly elephants. Feeding them together with the guides, a walk in the jungle, and plenty of information about the animals and the program. You got the feeling that these people love what they do. And the animals too. We were lucky enough to be alone in the camp, which made it even more exclusive. On top of that, there was a very delicious local lunch. Overall an absolute 5*+ rating.

We had an excellent experience! Mr. Todd, our tour organizer, was absolutely wonderful—very friendly, helpful, and well-organized throughout the trip. We visited an elephant sanctuary with four elephants, and the whole experience was truly enjoyable. The elephant caretakers were very kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious as well. The place was peaceful, quiet, and relaxing, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this tour, especially for small families looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience with elephants.

Wonderful experience. Excellent guide at the sanctuary. Learned about the program rescuing elephants. We fed them and gave them their "medicine". At this sanctuary there was a young elephant, which we were told was a rarity, because it turned out that when the mother was rescued she was pregnant. Fascinating just being able to get.up close and watch how the elephants interacted.

If you truly want an opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in an environment that respects and cares for them, this is the place. The pickup was smooth and our driver Todd was very kind and knowledgeable. Our guide, Ford, demonstrated true passion and commitment to the wellbeing of the Elephants. ChiangMai Elephant Care is a wonderful and ethical group who truly put the care of the elephants first. We had a memorable afternoon, starting with a smooth pick up and ride with our driver Tod who shared lots of history and his perspective of Chiang Mai! At the sanctuary, Ford is a very knowledgeable guide with many years of experience caring for elephants of all walks of life. He and all of the caretakers are passionate about a natural and happy life for the elephants. They also limit the number of visitors per day and we were lucky today to have a private experience! And of course, the four elephants at the sanctuary seemed very happy and active, with 19 acres for them to roam and roll around in mud! We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a meaningful encounter with elephants that prioritizes their wellbeing.

What an incredible experience! The small group size made it feel like an intimate visit rather than a typical tour. Our guide Ford was knowledgeable, passionate, and gave us plenty of time to simply be with the elephants. We spent hours feeding them, walking alongside them, gently touching them, and observing them in a respectful, ethical environment. You never felt rushed, and it was clear the elephants’ welfare always came first. If you’re looking for a genuine and ethical elephant sanctuary experience, I can’t recommend this enough.
