Instead of taking the train from Porto to Lisbon, we hired a private driver and enjoyed the stops along the way. We visited Aviero, Costa Nova, Navare & Obidos. Our driver J Araujo arrived on time and guided us through our day effortlessly. He answered our incessant questions about the culture, food & language; gave us specific instructions on where to go and what to see in each town; and was super accommodating to our schedule, never once rushing us. Well worth the money & an entire day. My family said it was one of the best days of our trip!
Joao Jesus was a very well-informed and entertaining guide. We had 2 stops in Aveiro and Obidos, but he also gave us some free tine for lunch and to walk around in Costa Nova. Pick up was on time, car was very comfy and drive was safe and smooth.
Ana was on time in picking us up. She is very knowledgeable and gives us information about the different places we went to (Aveiro, Fatima, Nazare, and Obidos). She is also an excellent driver. The ride was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. Definitely recommend!!!
This was a great way to spend the journey back from Porto to Lisbon. Josepi was a great tour guide and driver. He picked us up from our hotel in Porto. We stopped in Aveiro, Nazare, and Obidos, then were dropped at our hotel in Lisbon. Stress free and enjoyable!
We had a great day traveling from Porto to Lisbon with our driver Tiago. He was entertaining pleasant and prompt. Tiago recommended we stop in Tomar to see the Convent of Christ and we were very happy we did. Good luck to Portugal in the Cup!🇵🇹

When deciding how to get from Lisbon to Porto, the option to go by car was a no-brainer! Why sit on a train, when you can instead, experience more cities in person along the way. We stopped in Obidos for some shopping, Nazare for lunch and to enjoy this famous beach town, and then viewed the beautiful canals of Aveiro. Our driver Miguel was amazing, and provided a lot of conversation on the areas and the history of Portugal as well. Highly recommend!

Our driver Alfredo was excellent. He messaged before arriving and was right on time. On the way to Fatima Alfredo shared history of the area and ensured we had water and bathroom breaks. We felt cared for and he was very kind. He also shared information about the sights we were going to see. We thoroughly enjoyed the stops and appreciated the comfortable ride to Lisbon. J Araújo was our guide and was the best guide we have had: knowledgeable, great personality, friendly, gracious, attentive... everything you want when you are doing a tour. It was simply a blast of a good time! The van was immaculate and we learned far more about the route from Lisboa to Porto than we ever could have by doing it on our own.
