Den eneste mad- og fotoekspert-ledede PINTXO TOUR i Bilbao. Tag med mig til en gå-, fotograferings-, spise- og drikkeoplevelse, du aldrig vil glemme! Vi besøger 5 forskellige barer for et glas og en pintxo (sofistikeret baskisk tapa) på hver enkelt. Det er et komplet måltid og præcis, hvad de lokale kan lide at gøre. Du vil VÆRE LOKAL med mig! Langs ruten vil jeg vise dig stederne og fortælle dig om Baskerlandets historie og kultur, vi vil besøge RIBERA MARKED, men mit fokus er bestemt på MAD & DRIKKE. Min rute og menuen skifter dagligt, men vi vil lave en blanding fra det traditionelle til det moderne. Forvent at spise ansjoser, blæksprutter, bacalao i pil-pil sauce, blæksprutte, foie gras, lokal ost... og slutter selvfølgelig af med en traditionel dessert. Tørstig? Jeg er god til at parre den perfekte skænk med den perfekte tallerken, fra lokale cider til hvidvin (txakoli), unge og lagrede Tempranillo fra La Rioja, øl og mere, måske vi også dypper i noget vermouth? Eller vil du prøve vores lokale drink Kalimotxo?

After our other food tour was canceled due to low attendance, my wife and I found Oihana, and I’m so glad the first tour fell through because this turned out to be one of our favorite experiences in Bilbao. Oihana was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel like we were exploring the city with a good friend. We visited several spots to try different pintxos, and Oihana made sure the experience felt personalized just for us. She even encouraged us to try the “original” pintxo with an olive, anchovy, and guindilla pepper. Normally, I don’t like olives or anchovies, but this one completely won me over, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since we left. By the end of the tour, we were happily stuffed with food and drinks, and Oihana even sent us off with some sweets. Along the way, we also learned so much about Bilbao’s rich history. It felt like you were walking around the city with a friend. I cannot recommend Oihana enough. If you’re in Bilbao and looking for a food and drink tour, this is an absolute must! You won’t be disappointed!

I would highly recommend this tour. It was a good balance between being informative, providing history of Bilbao and enjoying some wonderful food. Oihana was an excellent guide and we felt like we were travelling with a friend which made for great conversation.

We loved our food tour with Oihana! She was a very fun and knowledgeable guide, and took us to fun spots with delicious pintxos. Bilbao was very crowded with a big match that night, and she navigated the crowds and bars like a pro. We were grateful that she and the bars accommodated two in our group who needed to be gluten free due to celiac disease. They loved their pintxos, which were just as creative and delicious as ours. We knew the bars could not guarantee no cross-contamination without dedicated kitchens- that is common, and neither of them got sick. Thanks again Oihana- we definitely reach out if we visit Bilbao again!

My tour had 5 people in it, which meant Oihani the tour guide gave her full attention to us. The pinxto we had along with the wine was perfect. Her knowledge of Bilbao and the Basque region was spot on.

The main reason for my trip to Bilbao was the rich cuisine of the Basque Country. Oihana’s tour exceeded my lofty expectations. Oihana is very personable, and makes the tour feel like you are visiting a local friend. Her level of hospitality during the tour gives it a layer of authenticity that is hard to find in other tours. Our food safari with Oihana was an outstanding kick off to our Basque Country experience. We like private tours so that we can really connect with our guide and always want to tour with a local.
