Med en lokal født og opvokset i Bilbao komme opdage en smuk by og den fantastiske baskiske mad på vores 3 - time 'pintxos' (baskiske tapas) tur i Bilbao. Oplev de 700 år gamle gader i den gamle bydel med en professionel lokal 100% baskisk guide, der er ekspert i Bilbao kulinariske scene. Vi er den oprindelige "Bilbao Food Tour" har banebrydende idé i byen fra 2014 med vores hjemmeside : bilbaofoodtour.com Vi vil besøge 5 barer og prøve pintxo stilarter spænder fra traditionelle til moderne. Din guide vil parre hver smagning med en fremragende vin, der komplimenterer pintxo. Vine, som vi anbefaler, omfatter rødvin fra La Rioja, Txakoli (en let mousserende hvidvin fra den baskiske kyst), og meget mere!

Du vil opleve alt, hvad Bilbao har at byde på på denne tur med stop ved meget moderne barer, og også stop ved nogle af de ældste barer i byen! -Jeg vil lære dig at bestille pintxos. Efter min tur vil du have tillid til at gå i enhver bar i byen! -Jeg parrer pintxos med en vin, der passer bedst til den type mad, vi oplever. Vi vil prøve rød- og hvidvin, cider og andre drinks på denne tur. -Jeg kender de bedste barer i min by, og hvad jeg skal bestille, da jeg er født og opvokset i Bilbao!

We love food tours and this was one of the best. Irene was so much fun and knowledgeable about everything Basque! The tour was in the old town and not to much walking. The food and wine pairing was great! Highly recommend!
Brilliant tour. Our guide Lei was wonderful, upbeat and energetic. Not only did she explain about the food but also the language and history of the region. It was nice that the group was small and everyone was friendly and chatty. I would recommend this tour wholeheartedly.
Very nice enthusiastic and informative guide! I travel alone and had a very nice evening! And enjoyed delicious pinchos with extensive explanations... wine was certainly sufficient!!! In short do!!! Enjoyed it!
This was our first time to visit Bilbao. So we decided to book the food and wine tour. It was a great experience. Our guide was Irene! She is from the Basque Country and taught us a lot of not only about the food and local wine, but their culture. We highly recommend this tour!
Irene was amazing ! I would highly recommend this tour while in Bilbao ! She was very enthusiastic and friendly and we ended up going back to all the places she introduced us to on the food tour.
Leire was a fantastic guide! She is clearly very passionate about the culture, food and history and made the tour very enjoyable! I had initially been concerned that we would need to get dinner somewhere afterwards as pintxos are small portions. This was not necessary as we were very satisfied by the end of the evening.
It's is a fun experience and informative. Food and wines are good. Overall 9 out of 10 (no 10 because of steep price point)
This experience was a wonderful way to spend our first and only night in Bilbao. Our tour guide, Irene, brought us to local spots with incredible food and drinks to go with each bite. Irene was so friendly and taught us so much about her Basque culture. She even sent us a long list of recommendations for the next stop on our trip (: Highly recommend this experience, even with 110 degree heat wave temps!
Irene is so knowledgeable of local culture, customs, and history, it was fantastic learning more about the area while discovering new dishes. So many of the pintxos were from the kitchen, which made it feel unique and special.
What a wonderful experience! Incredibly informative and tasty. We were delighted to visit 5 traditional establishments, where at each we tasted 2 different pintxos and a curated beverage, all expertly directed and hosted by Lei, our exceptional host. She was effortless and hilarious in equal measure. What a legend. Would recommend highly. J and E.
