Vores fantastiske Perlan & Golden Circle Tour er en fantastisk introduktion til dette land af naturlige vidundere. På den første del af din dag kan du deltage i vores mest populære tur på den berømte Golden Circle-rute. Den Gyldne Cirkel byder på nogle af Islands absolutte højdepunkter, herunder det brusende Gullfoss-vandfald, UNESCOs verdensarvssted Thingvellir National Park og mest berømt af alle Geysir. Som en ekstra bonus stopper vi også ved den 6500 år gamle vulkanske kratersø ved Kerið. Efter at have udforsket Island for alvor, udforsk flere islandske naturvidundere på Perlan Museum. Udstillingen Wonders of Iceland omfatter naturhistorie, en kunstig ishule lavet af ægte gletsjeris og Árora, et fantastisk nordlys- og naturplanetarium.

Golden Circle er den ultimative dagsturrute fra Reykjavik. Det omfatter tre Islands ikoniske destinationer: Geysir geotermiske område, Gullfoss vandfald og Thingvellir nationalpark.
Storslået 3000 krater dannet under vulkanudbrud, som nu har en turkis sø i kraterets bund.
Besøg den verdensberømte Geysir, som alle gejsere er opkaldt efter. Strokkur-gejseren går i udbrud med få minutters mellemrum og kan sprøjte vand og damp op til 100 fod op i luften.
Vi besøger dette ekstremt imponerende og kraftfulde vandfald. Disse vandfald har flere store dråber og fødes af kildesmeltevand fra Langjökull-gletsjeren mod nord
UNESCOs verdensarvssted er et sted af stor betydning historisk og kulturelt i Island. Det er dog mest bemærkelsesværdigt for dets unikke geologiske træk.
Efter Golden Circle-turen bliver du sat af på Perlan Museum. Glacier and Ice Cave-udstillingen bringer en gletsjer til byens centrum. Udstillingen starter med en gennemgang af den første menneskeskabte isgrotte af sin art i verden. Ishulen fører til en dramatisk multimedieudstilling, der giver flere detaljer om Islands skattede gletsjere, gletsjernes fremtid og virkningerne af global opvarmning. My travel to Iceland was with two others so we’ll did our separate booking for this excursion which didn’t ask if you were traveling with others during the registration process so when the event buses showed up we were all seated on separate buses but with the assistance of two of the three hosts we were accommodated on the same bus

It was very windy the day we went out so couldn’t enjoy much. Also they didn’t give much information about the ice cave exhibit which was ok. Not that great
