A fabulous tour of a beautiful city, the guide was masterful in the way she delivered commentary in both English and Italian .
It’s very difficult that the tour was a lot of people and the guide was speaking English and Italian.

Having done walking tours all over the world, this is the only one I have left before it ended. Calling this a “walking tour” is bring generous. We gave it an hour before we left and in that hour we walked half a block. Because this tour is in two languages, each location spends 10-15 minutes in the other language before switching over. I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it IS stated in the fine print that this tour is done in two languages so that is my bad. Find an English speaking only tour! Maybe you’ll get to see some sites. They absolutely should split this tour into two groups for each language. There were enough people to do that, just needed another guide.

The experience consisted of a tour of about 1.5 hours in the historic center of the city. The walk was pleasant and allowed us to orient ourselves and see the main historical and artistic monuments of Parma. Unfortunately, however, the guide was not always clear in the exhibition and sometimes not even too precise. (It would also have been nice to have more group involvement). For the cost of the guided tour (22 € per person) we would have expected more expertise and more care.

Pro: perfect location, less than 50 meters to the train station. Small but functional kitchen. Washer in the restroom. Grocery store, hospital and restaurants are all within 10 minutes walk. Good communication with the owner. Con: the bed is way too soft. I have traveled a lot, not picky on mattress. That is first time I have issues with mattress. It would depend on the unit, some apartments might be too small for two people. It is pricy for the condition of room in a small city like Parma.
The guide gave us a lot of information about the essential monuments of Parma. She was very knowledgeable and spoke well in French and English.

We had an evening tour with Elisabetta. Her knowledge of the history and art of the city was extremely detailed and fascinating; we appreciated the time she took and level of knowledge. She was happy to answer our questions and get input from us about things we were interested in seeing or focusing on. She also gave us feedback and advice about restaurants / etc for that evening. Our Guide was engaging and knowledgeable. But half the time she wasn’t speaking into her microphone, despite reminders at least twice. Disappointing!

The tour said it was 3 hrs but only ended up to be 2 tours. The guide wasn’t very passionate about the tour which was disappointing
