This tour was amazing !!!! Our tour guide Julian was absolutely amazing and made this experience 100x better too!!! It was a Full day of unique experiences and wonderful sight seeing. It was a private tour so we never felt rushed, we were told so much history about where we went throughout the tour, and had time to get amazing food along the way . It was A full day of so many different activities, you definitely get your moneys worth. it truely was just a great day of exploration and adventure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

My friends and I had an AMAZING tour with Julian! Words truly can’t do it justice, the tour was everything we hoped for and so much more. We chose to do paragliding plus the day trip to Guatapé, and both experiences were unforgettable. It was my first time paragliding, and I felt so safe and the views were outstanding. In Guatapé, we got to meet local artisans who our guide was friends with - as a local Colombian entrepreneur, Julian was very well-connected. One thing to note: if you get carsick, I recommend bringing medication for the windy roads. Overall, I highly recommend looking up Ecoventure for your next trip to Colombia!

What a perfect day. We had been so disappointed to arrive in Medellin and not done our research to know that virtually everything was closed for Semana Santa so it was a last minute scramble to book an activity. Ecoventure tours was so quick with responding and extremely accommodating. We settled on the luxury tour of Guatape with a paragliding add-on. Juan, our guide, picked us up early in his comfortable SUV. He clearly explained what the day had in store for us but made it clear that there was lots of flexibility. Our first stop, paragliding. Not going to lie, I was THIS close to backing out but I’m sooooo glad I did it. What an amazing experience. Soaring above the valley and beauty so waterfalls. We left there to head for El Peñón and our gruelling climb up the “rock”. Juan knew a shortcut through the back country and managed to avoid hours of Easter traffic.) the climb actually wasn’t so bad. Took us about 15 minutes to reach the top and the amazing views. We enjoyed a quick drink, a michelada. Very refreshing. With the crowds, it took us longer to get down than it did to get up. We then enjoyed a leisurely lunch at Paisa. I recommend Pollo Milanesa. It was then time to explore the colourful city of Guatape. By then we were tired so instead of a planned walking tour, we did a car tour and this was really good enough for us. Juan gave us lots of great info as we explored the city in the comfort of our air conditioned vehicle. By then it was time to head back to Medellin to try and avoid the worst of the traffic but we did make time for a stop at El Alto de Chocho, a massive petting zoo where we got up close and personal with llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, horses and ostriches. Be sure to buy the basket of carrots to feed the animals. They LOVED this! Finish the stop off with some delicious strawberries and cream. Heaven! From there it was a smooth one hour drive back to Medellin. Juan loved 80s music and had a great play list so we had a bit of a sing along to pass the time on the way back. All in all a fabulous day which was made all that much better thanks to our amazing guide, Juan. If you book (and I strongly suggest you do), be sure to ask for him!!

Go, just go. If you’re looking for your sign to finally take the leap, this is it. This was an amazing experience over the waterfall. The take off was fun. The pilot will guide you throughout the flight. I felt at ease and really just excited that I did it. It was exhilarating and well worth the thrill. I thought I’d be nervous but I was calm, mostly because I had made up my mind to do it. It also helped to watch others take off before. Just relax and let the wind and pilot take you on the most peaceful journey. I also appreciated the driver and transport from one hotel to the next and learning the history of other departments and towns. I also got to see the most gorgeous views from the countryside. Well worth it!

I had a wonderful experience with Julian, going paragliding and exploring Guatape. As a solo female traveler, I felt very taken care of, with clear communication, a comfortable drive experience, and back-to-back incredible sights and experiences. I went paragliding first (one of the cooler experiences of my life), then went to see some llamas and other animals, climbed La Piedra del Peñol, and explored the colorful town nearby. Highly recommend.

I had an absolutely amazing paragliding experience from beginning to end! Julian was an incredible tour guide — he made me feel extremely welcomed, answered every question I had, and was so respectful, kind, and professional the entire time. He really helped calm any nerves and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would 100% recommend paragliding to everyone — it’s something you’ll never forget. And if you can, definitely ask for Julian! He truly made this experience unforgettable.

It was a very nice experience, the day was very good, with a lot of wind, and we were able to hang over the waterfall for a long time. It was my first time flying like a bird and it was a nice new experience. Enjoy flying calmly watching the trees and waterfall. Take the opportunity to make a video of my experience to have a better memory. The Mountain is very beautiful and in the company of friends we took several photos and did some group stunts. Later we went to Guatape, climbed to the top, and the 360 degree views of the area are incredible, we finally enjoyed the visit the town of Guatape, with very picturesque sites, narrow streets and several very interesting shops. The private tour was an excellent option to be able to get the best out of it, leaving Medellin early and visiting several beautiful places, I would have liked to spend more time in those places and hope to come back in the future.

An absolutely unforgettable paragliding experience! The view over the waterfalls was breathtaking — truly one of the most stunning sights I’ve ever seen from above. My pilot was incredibly professional, made me feel safe from start to finish, and explained everything clearly. The flight was smooth, and the landing was gentle and perfectly executed. If you’ve ever thought about trying paragliding, this is the place to do it! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an adventure with a view you’ll never forget.

As it was rainy season the weather was against us, but the company and our guide Fabian did an excellent job giving us the best experience possible! It’s a whole day event with the paragliding-worth it! Guatapé was awesome, the rock was a little anti-climatic/touristy, but the views were pretty.

Colombia gave me goosebumps!😍 It was the kind of day when we first rappelled down a roaring waterfall, and just a couple of hours later we were soaring over other waterfalls and a stunning valley, side by side with the birds. Rappelling - pure adrenaline and excitement. Paragliding - silence, freedom, and the feeling that the whole world lies beneath you.
