Nr. 1 Chiang Mai: 3-timers Monk Trail-vandring til Wat Doi Suthep & Palad

Beskrivelse
Efter to timer, nå Wat Suthep i 1.100 meter over havets overflade.

The hike is quite strenuous, need to be reasonably fit. The guide was amazing very entertaining and gave loads of information. Would really recommend the best experience
Truly memorable day out with the family hiking the monks trail to Wat Pha Lat. Very steep climb up, grateful for the ropes to hold on to! Definitely not for the unfit! Totally worth the hike up to see this hidden temple. Then hiked on up to Phra That Doi Suthep. Amazing! There are no words to describe. We will never forget this. HIGHLY recommend 🙏 👍🇹🇭🛕
It was a great and beautiful hike! But a tough one in some places. My guide was very nice and with me the whole way
The whole experience is great. Aidan and A are super nice and fun to talk with. A is very knowledgable about local plants and animals. Only pitty is that part of the trail is currently closed. The hiking is relatively easy even for beginners. Wat Pha Lat is super peaceful and blend in with nature, recommend to spend more time there.
Great trip and brilliant guide made this a great experience. The treks were challenging but doable as quite steep. Something to consider if you are not fit. The lunch, coffee plantation and waterfall really added to the tour. Only reason for the 4 star is that it was more like 7 hours overall ( this needs to be made clear) and the extra charges by the provider for insurance and national park entry should have been made clear when booking.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback! We’re really glad you enjoyed the hike and had a great experience with our guide — and that the added visits to the coffee plantation and waterfall were highlights for you. Due to the fire season, part of the regular Monk’s Trail route was temporarily closed, so we upgraded your experience to a full-day version at no additional cost to make the most of your day. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding, especially with the National Park entry fee, which became applicable because of the added destination (Monthathan Waterfall area). We’ll be sure to clarify these details more transparently moving forward. The regular 3-hour hike will resume from May 16th as the seasonal closure ends. Thanks again for joining us — and we hope to see you again for another Chiang Mai adventure!
If you like hiking with and in culture, this is the trip for you. Er have done the long tour ( I think between 12-14 Km, some paths were steep and one need to climb up ). We met friendly and funny guides, and a good sporty company. If you are not a sporty person, take the short tour. It is great to do it in winter, in summer too but I think it will be harder.
Tour guides were friendly and clear on expectations and difficulty levels of various parts of the walk. Timings were accurate and the group I was lucky enough to join were all friendly. The guide more than accommodated the different levels of abilities in our group and brought us back together at various points throughout the event Great experience and lovely guides
This moderate hike was well worth it, the bike ride from the top was a great way to end! Try it you’ll not be disappointed!
Prompt pickup and lift to the shop. Kit provided friendly helpful owner. Lift up to start of the trail by the zoo. Dania was a great guide the mountain takes around three hours to climb it is around 1500 feet high and a great hike. Plenty of wildlife there are some steep parts you should be in reasonable fitness to complete this. But it’s so rewarding a fantastic experience. My Guide Dania was skilled at finding wildlife and informative about the history of the trail. Temple at the top fantastic views. You can make an offering or just soak up the experience and there is dinner at a great little cafe at the temple site before hiking back down or cycling down back to the city if you choose that option. Company offers kayaking biking and other hikes. Really worth it,
A long energetic hike way more than 3 hour. Nice lunch but our guide was excellent. Brilliant day out.
