Anmeldelse af Northern Lights Adventure: Small Group Island Tour Deltag i en hyggelig og uforglemmelig aften på jagt efter Aurora Borealis i en lille, intim gruppe (maks. 19 gæster). Vores venlige lokale guider, der specialiserer sig i nordlys forudsigelse, bruger live data hver aften til at finde de bedste, crowd-fri steder, hvilket giver dig den bedste chance for at se dette magiske fænomen. Wrap dig selv i varme islandske uld tæpper, nyd lækker varm chokolade, og nyd traditionelle bakkerier som nattehimlen kommer til live. Vores guider, der også er professionelle fotografer, vil fange smukke billeder af dig under lyset, leveret direkte til din indbakke inden for 8 dage, så du kan genopleve magien. Rejseplan
Først og fremmest vil du starte din jagt på nordlyset med lidt planlægning via Aurora-prognosen og starte din udforskning ved at gå mod det valgte sted. Du kan køre i op til en time for at nå et godt sted og måske vente på, at lyset vises. På dette tidspunkt tager vi den varme chokolade og islandske kager frem. Vi har også islandske uldtæpper ombord for at holde dig varm, mens du står udenfor. Der kan være beslutningen om at skifte plads, ved at interagere med andre lokale, da der er mange forskellige mennesker udenfor, der leder efter lys hver nat. Det gør vi for at øge mulighederne for at finde nordlys. Hvis der ikke er nordlys, mens du er på tur, kan du prøve igen gratis (afhængigt af tilgængelighed). Ved at rejse i en minibus får du kvaliteten af en lille gruppe på højst 19 personer, da menneskemængder undgås for at komme til det bedste tilgængelige sted.

Afhentning begynder 30 minutter før afgangstiden. * 15. august – 30. september & 1. april – 18. april: fra 21.30 * 1. oktober – 31. marts: fra 20:30 Vi skal have din e-mailadresse registreret, så vi kan sende dig en e-mail 30 minutter før den planlagte afhentning. Denne e-mail vil indeholde en beskrivelse af vores bil, herunder et billede og nummerplade. Vi vil også give navnet på guiden i e-mailen. Vores chauffør-guide vil altid stoppe, komme ud af bilen, og søge efter dig. De vil ikke forlade afhentningspunktet, medmindre de ikke kan lokalisere dig.

- En refusion er kun mulig, hvis turen aldrig kører, mens du er i Island, og du aldrig får chancen for at deltage i turen, hvilket nogle gange sker på grund af ugunstige vejrforhold.
- Turen drives i en minibus og overstiger ikke mere end 19 passagerer.
- Tilgængelighed for tur kan ikke kontrolleres uden at foretage en reservation. Kreditkort vil kun blive debiteret ved bekræftelse af vist tilgængelighed.
- Denne tur finder sted om natten, vær venlig at klæde dig ud med varmt tøj. Medbring hue, handsker og et tørklæde. Vandtæt beklædning anbefales altid, når man rejser rundt i Island.

- På grund af trafikregler er det ikke tilladt for turistbusser at køre eller stoppe i visse byområder og kan kun stoppe på udpegede steder. Hvis dit hotel ikke er på vores liste, eller hvis du er usikker på, hvor du kan møde os til afhentning, bedes du e-mail os.

If the weather had cooperated I’m sure this excursion would have been a success. With that being said, the guide and transportation were fantastic.

Very happy with this tour, it was well organised and the communication with the company was excellent. We managed to see the lights, albeit not as spectacular as I’d hoped, although our guide worked hard to find the best locations for us. Obviously the tour group has no control over the conditions! The sky was clear, though, and even seeing the stars was amazing. The hot chocolate and snacks went down a treat, and we had really good quality photos from the guide available after a few days. Would recommend this tour.

We were really desperate to see the Northern Lights. We had traveled to the south of Iceland to see them and we had no luck due to weather. We booked a trip with EastWest for the evening before our tour but it was cancelled because of cloud cover. I really appreciated that as the company could have easily taken us out and taken our time and money. So I felt that this was a very honest company. This was also reinforced by the concierge of our hotel who said EastWest was the only company she would book for this kind of tour. Our tour guide Baldvin picked us up at our hotel. The van was incredibly comfortable and had WIFI. Big plus! Baldvin was very informative and was just as excited when he spotted the lights as the guests were. We were super lucky to see them. It was very special and was a highlight of the trip. It's not like anything I imagined. We could see them with the naked eye, but not as bright and stunning as through the camera lens. I appreciated that Baldvin included a bathroom break at an Icelandic gas station. We were able to get drinks and snacks which was another big plus for us. All in all I thought this tour was well done and very enjoyable.

We had a northern lights tours with Baldvin. We enjoyed this tour with him and it felt exciting to go find the northern lights and see if we would be lucky enough to see them. We felt he went above and beyond as a storm was coming the next day and he drove farther out so that we would have a clear enough sky to see them. We are able to see them and the photos turned out great!

Our tour to see the Northern Lights was very enjoyable, even in the very cold weather! Tour guide was knowledgeable and informative and he seemed very experienced in "finding" the Northern Lights, and we did! I believe prices are comparable to other tour groups. Reserving the tour through our hotel was very easy. I highly recommend EastWest as a tour source and would happily go with them again.

My wife really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the science in determining whether the lights would be visible or not. Unfortunately they’re not visible with the naked eye. You have to use your phone and take a picture , then the color of the lights come thru.

That behind the scenes work is a big part of how we try to give each group the best possible chance. We completely understand your comments regarding visibility. What you experienced is quite common, especially on nights with lower aurora activity. The camera can capture colors and details that the human eye cannot always see clearly, so the lights can appear faint or more like a glow in real time. On stronger nights, the aurora can be much more vivid to the naked eye, but as a natural phenomenon, this level of intensity cannot be guaranteed on any given evening.
