Oplev autentiske Naxos fra landsby til landsby, kom i kontakt med lokalbefolkningen og få en ægte smag af øens liv. Vi inviterer dig med på en spændende ø-tur i landsbyerne Naxos, som stimulerer alle fem sanser. Vi kører fra landsby til landsby, hvor vi nyder et andet måltid på hver anden lokation! Nyd forretter i en "uden for alfarvej" landsby, hovedret i marmorlandsbyen Apeiranthos og ørken ved maleriske Chalki!

Vores tur begynder med en køretur til en landsby uden for den slagne vej med brostensbelagte gyder, naturlige vandfald og smuk natur. Der møder vi en ung lokal landmand ved hans olivenlund, vi smager på hans produkter og lærer om den gamle kunst at høste oliven i Grækenland.
Vi fortsætter vores naturskønne køretur med klatring til bjerglandsbyen Apeiranthos, kendt for sine marmorgader og middelalderlig arkitektur. Efter en vandretur i landsbyen vil vi nyde ost og vinsmagning med et strejf af Naxian-retter fuld af lokal smag.
Dessert er lige så speciel som vores næste landsbystop. Chalki er den tidligere hovedstad på øen, hvor vi vil smage Naxos' berømte citronspiritus på det traditionelle destilleri og, som en enestående fornøjelse, nyde den lokalt tilberedte vanillecreme. Kør tilbage med dyrebare minder fyldt med en ægte smag af Naxian-livet.

So much to see and do on the trip with our guide. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it made it intimate. Lots of driving over the island to see unique places and taste unique foods.
This is a great way to get out of the main town and explore the beautiful rural villages while enjoying local foods.
Tour guide very knowledgeable of culture and history of Naxos. Lunch was delicious! Possibly a little more time to be in village after tour.
Elizabeth (guide) and Nikos (driver) gave us an amazing tour around the villages with food. The information about Naxos was incredible and the food was abundant. Nikos was such a skilled driver and Elizabeth had an amazing knowledge base. We would recommend this tour without hesitation for anyone interested in a deeper dive into Naxos history
Great way to see the mountain villages of Naxos. Fabulous small group tour tasting local foods’ our guide Leeanna was wonderful. Definitely recommend
I love booking food tours when traveling. It gives you a chance to try local cuisines and learn about the culture and history! Given that I think this tour was a bit lacking in the food offerings, while the villages we visited were beautiful and Elizabeth was great, I think for the dollar value the amount of food you get does not match the price. I wish there were more quick shops to try a variety of things. Instead the 1st two stops were sit down. 1st was light bites and tea to start, a main meal for the 2nd stop, and the last stop was a distillery (which if you are underage this does not serve you well). Additionally the last stop included dessert on the go but I think the last stop should have incorporated more food options. I think if this were a 3rd of the price it would be worth the value but for $200 USD per person it is a bit steep in comparison to other food tours I have done around the world. I would still recommend but please know you will likely leave this tour still hungry :(
This was a great tour. Elizabeth was super knowledgeable and introduced us to the lesser known parts of Naxos and their food traditions. We got to try lots of different items and learned so much about the history and economy of Naxos,
A lovely way to see Naxos and some smaller villages. The food was delicious and the guide made a lot of effort to explain all of the stops. The last stop (distillery) was not so great, and would have liked to have had more variety in food for the price.
We were unexpectedly very privileged to have this trip on our own . There had been some cancellations due to the heat - but even on a 33 degree day this wasn’t an issue . Air con & water on the bus , lots of shade in the villages . A wonderful day of learning lots of new info of the history of Naxos , along with beautiful food ( far too much ) & villages . Our guide Ellianna was delightful & a great guide , full of stories & information . Lovely to see a very different & more traditional Naxos .
Wonderful tour to explore the hidden gems of Naxos. It was great to see how people in the villages live and local culture for a true authentic Naxian experience. Visited a number of villages, took in great sights of the island interior and had wonderful food and tastings along each of them. Our tour guide Illiana was great to explain everything so well. Definitely recommend.
