Naxos Perivoli Farm Experience & Brænde-madlavningskursus

We had a wonderful time with this lovely Greek family on their farm. Stamos was our guide as he showed us thru the olive tree grove, teaching us about olive oil. We hunted for eggs the chickens had laid that we would use in our cooking class, and he took us thru the gentle hill explaining more about the wild thyme and oragano growing throughout our walk. The views from the hillside were magnificent, and we even met the family donkey, Margarita. This first hour was informative and really got us connected with the land. Then we arrived at a gorgeous pergola where long tables awaited us for cooking and dining. Stamos walked us thru preparing vegetables for fried zucchini balls, a Greek stew, cucumber yogurt dip, a pastry-cheese dessert..... All the while sipping on wine, and the family cooking the meal over their wood burning oven. It was so much fun. We were in a group of about 10 and met a couple other fun families who were enjoying the experience with us. The family then invited us to join in for some Greek dancing and opa! we were throwing white plates on the ground. The 4 hours went by so quickly because we were having so much fun! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful. It was a great and fun experience . Constantina was a very refreshing guide. Very friendly and informative. It was a very social event The food was delicious and all grown on the farm. Definitely would recommend it.

Farm tour, cooking, eating and a little dancing. Normally I would have found this corny but my adult daughters and myself really enjoyed it! The family was so fun it was contagious.

The farm tour was interesting, informative, and a lot of fun—and the food was absolutely incredible. Arrive with just a small snack beforehand and pace yourself, because there are several generous rounds of food throughout the experience. It’s clear that the family takes tremendous pride in both the food they produce and in sharing their farm, traditions, and knowledge with guests. Learning about the history of farming on Naxos, as well as the modern techniques still used today, was truly eye-opening. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

This was the best activity I did on my whole trip! The food was delicious, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. It was worth every penny!

This was an incredible experience from start to finish. We felt like we were in someone’s actual home. And it was so welcoming. Sotto was a terrific host who gave us a great tour. The dinner was absolutely fantastic. The tour offers exactly what they say and then some. It’s truly a remarkable evening and a great way to experience Naxos up close and personal. The traditional Greek dancing was an exhilarating a perfect way to end.

Soto was an amazing guide. Food was outstanding! Made everyone feel like family. 10/10. The Naxos potatoes are incredible.

So much fun!! You get a tour around the property and see some of the animals- you cook a lot of delish food and leave feeling full and happy! Tina was an incredible guide! Highly recommend

What an absolutely amazing experience! The entire family loved it! We got a tour of the farm, learned about the history of farming on Naxos, and got to meet Margarita, the donkey. Our tour guide/instructor, Tina, did a great job explaining it all and she was just so genuine and fun to listen to. The cooking portion was focused almost entirely on the prep and the actual cooking and frying was handled by the staff. The food was fun to make and came out delicious. I'm especially looking forward to recreating the tzatziki sauce at home. After we finished our meal of course we had to get up and dance! Everyone was so warm and welcoming and I highly recommend this for all ages. These are memories we will cherish.
