We had a fabulous experience with Mando at the National Archeological Museum. She lead us on a chronological tour of Greek history punctuated by the truly remarkable highlights of the museum’s collection - some of which we would have missed without Mando’s guidance. We walked away with a much better understanding of how Greek culture and art evolved through the rise and fall and influence of multiple civilizations, and a new appreciation for the artifacts exhibited. Mando’s enthusiasm and love for the museum was infectious and charming. I had visited previously, but this time I was able to walk away with a much better appreciation and understanding of what I saw. Can’t recommend enough!!!
This was excellent and very informative. The kids learned a lot and saw a lot. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and patient with children. She communicated well with what we were seeing. It was something that you must see and do in Athens. All the history you get to see in one place in incredible.

This museum should not be seen with an audio guide or on your own The only way to confront 50 rooms is with a guide. Ours was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. Some of the history came to life.

Vicki was so knowledgeable and made the tour so interesting! We learned a lot of history but also how to tell the differences between classical and other types. We definitely benefitted from having Vicki with us! Greece is rich with history and everyone should spend time at the Arch museum!

I happen to know a little bit about Greek history and it was obvious, Amndo our guide, knew much more than I. It was also evident her passion for the arts and history of her country and the Mediterranean which resonated with us. Highly recommend.

Outstanding Tour of the National Archaeological Museum with Vassillis We had an outstanding two-hour tour of the National Archaeological Museum in Athens with Vassillis. He was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, thoughtful, and very easy to understand. In just two hours, he brought thousands of years of Greek history to life and helped us appreciate the museum’s most important treasures in a way we never could have done on our own. Vassillis did an excellent job explaining the historical context, artistic importance, and cultural meaning behind the exhibits. He knew how to focus our time on the highlights while still giving us enough depth to truly understand what we were seeing. His explanations were clear, interesting, and filled with insight. What made the tour especially enjoyable was his warm personality and passion for Greek history. He answered our questions patiently, adjusted the pace perfectly, and made the museum experience both educational and memorable. We highly recommend Vassillis to anyone visiting the National Archaeological Museum. His tour was one of the highlights of our time in Athens.

We arrived early, and the guide was waiting for us. The tour was well laid out, visiting key items from this vary large museum in chronological order. The guide was very knowledgeable, with interesting information about each item we viewed, and the related history. Well paced tour. No one can see everything in this museum in a couple of hours, but this tour makes sure you see the historically important items, and the beautiful ones. Our tour was in English and the guide's English was excellent.

Our visit to the archaeology museum was made so much better by have a knowledgeable guide! It's an overwhelming collection of artifacts so having someone help point out interesting trends in statues through history, notable finds, small details that we'd otherwise miss, and information about excavations.

Honestly, you should choose Vicki. Especially if you are from the US, Canada or the EU. English is her first language and she's very easy to understand. While in Greece and Turkey we found that the accents of some of our guides made it much harder to understand what they were saying. She is so knowledgeable,,, she was able to answer all of our questions. And there were a bunch. The very best part of our tour with her is that she gave us a very solid base for our understanding of the culture, and history of Greece. The resident historian on the Viking ship wasn't even half as good, if you need a comparison
