Besøg downtown Montego Bay. dets håndværk marked med håndlavede og importerede souveniors, efterfulgt af et stop på den berømte Sam Sharpe-plads, hvor du vil lære mere om nationale hero og afskaffelse af slaveri i Jamaica, så går vi videre til en af de mest berømte kirker i Jamaica og passerer forskellige frugtleverandører og lære om eksotiske planter. Vi vil derefter gå videre til et stort hus med en flot udsigt over byen og besøge flere værelser med antikke møbler. Vores chauffør vil tage os til nogle fattige og rige kvarterer og mest turistmæssige gade i Jamaica. Vi vil afslutte på en af de meget unikke pletter med en smuk udsigt over byen. Eventuelt kan hver rejsende tilføje en af de mange betalte aktiviteter i Jamaica for yderligere $ 40 pr. Had a tour that included a visit to Mo’Bay get cancelled one hour before departure…that was a bummer! That being said, things happen for a reason! For the next morning booked the Mo’Bay city tour through the Grand Palladium excursion office. Very helpful and friendly staff! The best part was meeting our driver and guide Larry! The tour was fantastic! Larry introduced us to true life in rural Jamaica driving through the area in which he grew up, including a visit to the mountain top home of the retired school teacher. The property had been in the family for generations and the views of the mountains, river and sea were spectacular. Larry discussed life on the mountain talking about hiking 7 miles to the market as a boy and his getting in trouble for snacking in the warm bread a he hiked home! He shared details about the history of Jamaica and its liberation. The morning was a warm enjoyable experience. We were given a thorough introduction to Montego Bay. Larry was so kind. He accommodated the crazy American request to visit the new Starbucks wandering in himself to experience the ambiance of something new! Larry, if you see this thank you for a wonderful day!
