Beskrivelse
Vores specialdesignede, friluftskøretøjer lader passagererne få smag for firehjulstræk på de røde klipper. Dem, der ønsker at vippe i dækkene og stige med adrenalin-klippekanten, behøver ikke at ansøge om denne tur! Det ekstreme er synspunkterne, ikke selve turen. Vores ruter krydser gennem smuldrende kløfter, tyngdekraft-trodsende hoodoos, skjulte buer og dyrebare helleristninger. Ind imellem stop for billeder og udforskning af stederne, vil din guide give forklaringer på Moabs vanvittige geologi og dramafyldte historie. Moabs surrealistiske landskaber er en off-roading utopi. Med skrånende avenuer med Slickrock og terracotta er det en overraskende kort pendling at komme til Mars' bagland på Jorden. Selvom vi ikke har noget imod en god gammeldags vandretur gennem ørkenen, kan det at tage en naturskøn jeep-tur være en meget mere effektiv og behagelig måde at nå områdets signatursteder på.

Mød os på vores Moab-kontor, hvor din guide venter med en tilpasset Jeep Gladiator klar til at tage dig til stierne. Afhængigt af hvilket område vi skal udforske den dag, kan vi køre gennem byen og langs motorvejen, indtil vi når stihovedet. Derfra vil vi bruge omkring 3 timer på at krydse gennem røde klippekløfter, med masser af muligheder for at komme ud og tjekke stederne. Nogle stier er mere barske end andre, og vi vælger typisk en mere eventyrlig rute til eftermiddagsturen i forhold til morgenturene. Men disse ture er fantastiske for alle aldre og er meget mere rettet mod steder, landskaber og dybdegående fortolkninger frem for ekstrem spænding. Din guide vil dele mere viden om området, end du ved, hvad du skal gøre med! Forvent at høre om Moabs skøre geologi, vilde historie og gamle oprindelige kulturer. Du vil vende tilbage med en større forståelse af, hvor utrolige og unikke Moabs omgivende landskaber virkelig er.

We had an amazing Jeep tour with Tysa. It ended up being more of a geology/rock tour than an off roading adventure like some might expect, but Tysa was absolutely amazing! He knew so much about the area and the rocks and rock formation and the Earth's surface.. On and on and on. It turned into a truly unique experience that we would definitely do again. Tysa was an old soul with a passion for all things outdoor.

Our jeep tour took us on a fun bumpy ride up to Hurrah Pass, stopping along the way for scenic sites & stories told by Dietrich. Amazing views the entire bumpy ride. Tip: have a bandana to cover your nose-- it's a dusty trail at times. We would definitely book with Mild to Wild again!!

We had an incredible time touring through Canyonlands with Deitrich! Our family of 6 fit comfortably in the Jeep and felt safe as we rock climbed and explored through the park. The scenery was amazing and we made stops along the way to see vistas, petriglyphs, and wind caves. The tour length was just right, allowing us to go deep into the terrain. Our tour guide was knowledgable and personable. It was both wild and mild and very memorable! We highly recommend!

Awesome experience. Darren our guide was great. Very knowledgeable. We chose the wild cheap ride and it definitely was wild, lots of fun. Toured a cave. Saw Petrographs. Our tour took longer the state due to Darren taking his time with the group taking pictures and exploring. Tour highly recommended.
