Colorado River Rafting: Eftermiddag halvdag ved Fisher Towers

Our group of six had a wonderful time rafting down the Colorado river with Braydon. He was very knowledgeable about the area. He took good care of us.

We actually did a full day event which started with a morning 4X4 Jeep ride through Canyonlands. We got back to the Adrift Adventure center and were quickly moved to meet our river guide and get fitted with life vests and loaded onto the bus. There was no time for a bathroom break. The owner is all business and very task-oriented; he definitely keeps the process moving and you can tell he has high expectations of his staff. We had two rafts going our and Sam and Evans were our guides. There was a 1/2 hour bus ride to get onto the river. The guides gave directions and let us know what to expect every step of the way. We briefly got on the river and pulled over for lunch. Again, the guides were on their game and got lunch set up and served (Deli.sandwiches, fruit, salads and cookies). It was a hot day and we were all ready to get back on the water quickly but there was no rush. Evans was our guide and he was engaging with all of the guests. There were 3 separate parties on the raft and we were all very comfortable with him and each other by the end. The water is low so it isn't a a fast ride. The wind was blowing upstream quite hard and Evans had to work hard to row and navigate the raft. There were 5-8 mild rapids along the way.. I'm glad we did it but I was ready to be done by the time we got there. I'm most impressed with how hard the guides worked and kept a great attitude throughout the entire trip.

Glorious 1/2 day on the Colorado River. The guides were fantastic and really worked hard to make a nice, relaxing trip. Our guide, Evans was professional, friendly and has a great temperament for this kind of work. Extremely pleasant!

I would have liked a bit stronger rapids, but we knew it would be fairly calm. They were honest about that. Otherwise, we had lots of fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the river and the surrounding terrain. The lunch was great.

A fantastic journey down the Colorado River made even more enjoyable by our guide Ethan. The views from the raft were breathtaking and Ethan made our trip more enjoyable with his easygoing personality and ability to include everyone in the conversation. Highly recommend this tour!

Went on a river raft trip with our tower, Natalie who was fun and informative. Had 9 in our group family of from London, me and my husband, Natalie and a couple from Gaza. Lots of laughs, a wonderful lunch, and such scenic beauty!

An absolutely amazing and unforgettable way to spend the afternoon. My 14 year old daughter and I loved this experience. Our guide, Phil, was fantastic. They provided a delicious picnic lunch on the banks of the river. I highly recommend booking with Adrift Adventures. The owner, Mike, was very helpful and kind too.

We really enjoyed our 1/2 day rafting experience with Adrift. Our guide, Ethan, was knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch was included, would recommend to those 'just getting their feet wet' with this sport.

Definitely a float. Maybe a few very short class 1 rapids if that. But WAY more of a calm float than we expected. Our guide unfortunately wasn’t as good as it seems some of the other mentioned guides. While he was nice, there wasn’t much said on the way to the float (and anything that was said couldn’t be heard very well in the back of the van). He did mention that we were skipping the better rapids because there was a chance if we went the way he chose we might see eagles or mountain goats (saw nothing). Would have been nice to be given the option as we would have chosen the rapids over a chance to see an animal. He pointed out a few things along the way (like where Tom Cruise filmed a scene) but nothing too exciting. Lunch was deli sandwiches, but due to the amount of meat there appeared to be, my family each only took 2 slices of deli meat to save enough for everyone and it was not really enough to cover the bread much less make a substantial sandwich. It took longer than expected to get to lunch because most of the beach pull outs were full. The beach we finally pulled out at was small with no shade and we pretty much just plopped in the sand for a quick bite to eat. Overall I’d rather pay more for a more thrilling adventure. If you are looking for an easy float this might be for you. Probably better suited for young kids (under 8) and senior citizens.
