Due to flood conditions the glacier part of this tour was cancelled but the whale watching more than made up for that disappointment! Captain Sam and naturalist Kayleigh provided a great experience-saw a pair of bears on the shore, a whole bunch of sea lions, and alot of whales!!! The true highlight was seeing a large group of whales bubble-net feeding, which was amazing to see! They do a lot of tours with cruise ship passengers and are very aware of when people need to be back at their ships, which should give people peace of mind in that respect.

My husband and I enjoyed this outing very much. Our guide, was so fun, friendly, and funny. He took great care of the group. The whale watching was great. We saw 7 whales, and many birds. The two boat guides knew a lot! Very friendly. The walk to see Mendenhall Glacier was easy and fun. A stunning view. Thank you!

The Naturalists were great in giving us information on the whales we saw. But the Mendelhall Gkacier tour was a disappointment since the restrooms were closed early and there wasn’t enough time to see the glacier .

I have never seen a glacier so beautiful! I kept hearing about it constantly on my trip! My only regret was I was was on a short time allowance from the cruise line! I am going back for a vacation next year for sure!

This excursion, while not part of a cruiseline experience was phenomenal and well worth it. It starts with a short walk to the Gold line Tram building. You want to be underneath of the wires on the parking lot side of the building and find thepeople holding a blue sign with yellow letters that say dolphin jet boat tours. You then take a short bus ride to a harbor. They load you up on a jet boat which for the ride out there is fully enclosed. Super comfortable. Couple of bumpsdeom waves. there's a naturalist on board telling you lots of different things about the area. The island that your circumnavigating whales and other Marine animals. I was really surprised about how well the other captains on board worked together to find the best whales to make the experience as good as it can be for the people on board the boats. When we do find whales they open up the hatches and allow folks to go outside and review the wildlife. At the end of the tour everybody comes back inside. We zip right back to the harbor. Then we board back on the bus. Then they take us over to the MendenHall glacier visitor center and we go and visit that location. The Mendenhall glacier as quickly melting and receding, so we were lucky to see it in our lifetime. Did I mention hot chocolate and coffee and snacks on the boat?

We really enjoyed Dolphin Boat tours whale watching experience. Naturist-Savannah and Captain Jake were great. We were able to view several humpback whales in the area and they knew them by name. Tour bus driver Joseph was informative. The Mendenhall Glacier experience was okay but it was self guided and we did not know where to go but the welcome center had great information about the glacier.

Had a great time. On time and professional. Had a lot of fun, would recommend them anytime. This minimum characters is nonsense.

Had a great experience on the whale watching side with Savannah and Jay and then Joseph, the driver took us to Mendenhall glacier and shared a lot of information with us. It was an awesome day.

Knowledgeable well informed and delivered what was described . Our nationalist, captain and bus driver took very good care of us and made the tour enjoyable
