Du kan se Nugget Falls fra parkeringspladsen og Visitor's Center, men HVIS du vælger at vandre til Nugget Falls, tager det 45-60 minutter tur/retur at vandre. Hvis du planlægger at vandre til vandfaldet, bedes du gøre dette først for at sikre, at du ikke går glip af din returbusafgang.

Everything was very well organized. Kenny was super funny and knowledgeable that made the beautiful glacier experience even more memorable. Thank you!
Our driver said if we do the train in Skagway we should sit on the left side, it’s best to see. Well it wasn’t, the right said had the better things pointed out by the driver. Otherwise Archie was very entertaining. BUT the cost was not worth it the cost. He basically drove us to the glacier and left. Then came back to pick us up. We would not recommend.
Viewing the glacier and waterfall was an awesome experience! A little bit of a walking exercise to get for visitors center around to the waterfall area, but well worth it! The view of Mendenhall Glacier was spectacular from the visitor center area, but sad to see how much it has retreated over the years (go see it while you can!). The tour bus driver delivered us and picked us up safely and on time. We wish there could have been enough time for the driver to pull over and let us take pictures of huge groups of bald eagles feeding on salmon in this one area near the terminal but he said he could not stop.
We received extremely poor communication from the tour operator. On our tour the previous day, the operator made it very clear that we needed to have plenty of time to take a shuttle to downtown Sitka before the tour. We received no information regarding the need to shuttle to the meeting point. We talked to the tour operator and told them we were on our way and they said they would accommodate us. We arrived 3 minutes after our tour time and they left us. They also refused to work with Viator on a refund. M&M also refused to put us on a later tour. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The meeting location and check in instructions are provided in the booking confirmation you receive after purchasing your tour. Included, are the directions to find us from all docks (as well as AJ, where you were located). Also in the confirmation you will find all our contact information with instructions to check in 30 minutes prior to your tour. We called your party twice, by phone the morning of your tour to give you assistance. We asked that you make your way to us, after giving you further directions. In an effort to accommodate your group we delayed departure of the tour by an additional 7 minutes beyond the scheduled departure time, of 8:30am. Unfortunately, after waiting as long as possible, we had to depart so that the experience was not negatively impacted for the other guests who had arrived on time. Regarding your request for a later departure, all tours that would fit your ships time in port were completely sold out. Therefore, we were unable to rebook your party of 4. If the morning tours had not sold out we would have gladly re booked your party. Because your reserved seats were held and the tour departed later than scheduled and we made every effort to accommodate you, the booking remained subject to our cancellation and refund policy. While we understand your frustration, we stand by the efforts our team made to communicate and accommodate you after your late arrival. We wish you the very best in your future travels.
The trip was awesome. Archie, our driver was a lot of fun. He was knowledgeable about the area and told us what to expect at the glacier and waterfalls.
Aiden the bus driver kept us amused for the trip up to the site and then back. Thanks Aiden! The bus was about 15 minutes late picking us up at the beginning, but right on time picking us up for the return trip. The park is lovely; we hiked the Nugget Falls Trail, which is an easy path 3/4 mile long out to the magnificent falls and then back. A lovely outing!
It was good, Aiden from M&M was a great driver for us and we had enough time to look at what we came for.
