Bring hand sanitizer and water. There are some small stalls for consumption, but they are very small; if tours arrive, everything runs out very quickly. The place is wonderful, and the crater is visited for only 10 minutes.
Our tour guide, Elias was fantastic! He was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable! He made sure we got the best experience possible and didn't feel rushed at all. Thank You!

Zohar was a fantastic guide to the volcano. She is friendly, ambitious, and personable and was able to communicate well the history and culture of the Nicaraguan people, both past and present. She gave beneficial insight into Volcan Masaya, from it's formation and the history, to the folklore and cultural feelings about this unique part of the Managuan landscape. I asked many questions and she entertained my inquisitiveness. I'd advise to take along a bottle of water for the evening tour as the cue to the park entrance can get quite lengthy.
Fantastic experience, the guide Elias was simply impeccable, we explained the whole history of the country, led us to various points of the city always very sought after and quiet. It adjusted all the times so we could arrive at the exact time on the volcano and have a privileged view.
Elias was a great tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot! We walked around and saw lots of owls and bats which I very much enjoyed. The view from the lookout is beautiful!
Visits to the key sites around Managua including church and museum. Elias and Isaac were young guides but helpful and fun to be with.
