Vi går en tur rundt om hovedpladsen i byen Granada, hvor vi vil se den majestætiske og historiske katedral i Granada Nuestra Señora de Asunción, hvis kirken den dag er åben, kan vi betale 1 dollar per person for at gå til klokkerne og Se det smukke centrum af Granada fra oven, vi vil tage et kig på det lille håndværksmarked, byens typiske madvarer og de smukke mennesker, der omgiver den. Vi går til den brændte La Merced kirke, hvor guiden vil fylde dig med information om hver enkelt kirkes og steds historie, hvor der er gratis adgang. Vi tager en båd, og vi vil vide, hvordan de 365 øer blev dannet, og vi vil kende hver enkelt af dem, blandt de mest populære, såsom de 2 Monkey Islands, Fort San Pablo, hvor vi vil kæmpe mod kaptajn Morgan og den bedste udsigt over vulkanen Mombacho. Vi vil have den bedste kaptajn og med nicaraguansk musik i baggrunden.
Havnen i Granada, hvor båden sejler til Ometepe-øerne, og hvor toget tidligere afgik fra, med den bedste restaurant i Granada på øverste etage med den bedste udsigt over søen og Mombacho-vulkanen, hvor vi kan spise og drik behageligt, hvis du ønsker det.
Det største håndværksmarked i Mellemamerika, hvor købmænd nænsomt arbejder med deres hænder hver ornament, stol, maca, alt hvad du kan forestille dig med kvalitetsarbejde og den kultur, der kendetegner Nicaragua. Det bedste sted at købe dine souvenirs.
Dette udsigtspunkt byder på en spektakulær udsigt over Apoyo-lagunen, et krater, der tidligere var en vulkan, som i dag er et imponerende vandkrater eller lagune, hvor den vidunderlige udsigt giver os mulighed for at værdsætte dens økosystem og samtidig den imponerende Mombacho-vulkan i Granada, Der er forskellige typer aktiviteter såsom Zip Line og Ridning.

Granada + San Juan + playa popoyo~ I had booked a separate tour through getyourguide and the tour operator messaged me to confirm booking. I also asked him if there were any customized tours he can arrange for me for 1 free day i had and wanted to visit granada+ san juan+ playa popoyo. He gave me options, pricing, time duration, weather updates and i chose from it and it was confirmed within hours. Very fast, efficient replies from Jordan. Anthony was my tour guide. He is one of the best guides i have met while on my solo trips. He is very knowledgeable with history of Nicaragua and has a passion for not only his work but also his nation and it reflects in his experiences for clients. We started from managua, drove to granada first to see one of the best colonial towns. It's rich in culture, architecture and vibes. Also thanks to Anthony because he is patient and very accomodating of people's request, be it viewing specific spots, finding best food places, taking a million photos for you(even if it's annoying, he does it with a smile), or any other things you want to do, you can make a request and surely he will find a solution for it, if it's possible. From Granada we drove to san juan, very beautiful town, lucky to have had good sunny weather and see the statue, and views of beach from top. We had o rush from there to popoyo because i wanted to catch sunset, and anthonyyy being the great driver he is, made it happen. We reached just in time to catch the last bit of sunset, verh beautiful. Note: the entrance tickets you have to pay separately outside of booking, so please carry cash(preferably) or most places take credit/debit too. 🙃 If you are travelling solo or with friends or even family, please book with this agency and they will help you with any questions. 100/10 best experience. Tony was very quick in moving things and friendly. This trip is good if you are a small group or solo and wants to get things done quickly. Islets were nice and so was the Granada Town. Wait for the Masaya volcano, was the only flaw, but Tony got there first after the gate open and was able to take good pics
A wonderful introduction to Nicaragua! It was both a structure tour, but it also had some flexibility. We got to see Granada downtown as well as visit a few churches and climb a bell tower for great panoramic views. This was followed by a tour of a chocolate museum, a boat ride on Lake Nicaragua, a spontaneous visit to a cigar shop to try Nicaraguan cigars, a visit to a panoramic viewpoint at apoyo lagoon, and finished the day visiting the masaya volcano crater My guide was Marvin and he was an excellent guide who made sure we were comfortable and offered great conversation. Overall highly recommend both this tour and the guide Marvin!
