Fordyb dig i den smukke Provence vinregion! Du vil få 2 private besøg af vingårde af høj kvalitet, nøje udvalgt af vores vineksperter. Med din guide og de andre gæster (maks. 8 personer i alt), opdag det bedste fra Provence appellationer og lær om druesorterne Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault ... og den komplekse kunst at blande. Denne vintur er en fantastisk mulighed for at smage nogle af de fineste roséer fra Provence, men også kraftfulde røde og aromatiske og livlige hvide. Du vil fuldende din kystudflugt ved at besøge en af de smukkeste byer/byer i Provence: Cassis eller Aix en Provence eller Lourmarin. Du vil møde din engelsktalende vinekspertguide ved Marseille krydstogtmolen. Han vil køre dig i en komfortabel & A/C minivan med plads til op til 8 personer. Du vil besøge 2 vingårde i løbet af dagen, gå bag kulisserne for at lære alt om vinfremstillingsprocessen, mens du besøger de aldrende værelser. Din guide vil forklare dig om jorden, klimaet, druesorterne, "terroiren" men også plukningen, beskæringen, grøn høst...på en afslappet og lærerig måde. Du vil smage nogle af de fineste Rosés kraftige og velafbalancerede røde, og også aromatiske og livlige hvide. Din guide vil lære dig, hvordan du smager som en professionel Du vil få omkring 2 timers fritid til frokost og besøg i en af de smukkeste byer i området: den charmerende lille havn i Cassis, eller den maleriske landsby Lourmarin eller den livlige og elegante by Aix en Provence. Du vil være tilbage til Marseille krydstogthavn omkring kl. 16.30 (andre returtider er muligt - defineres sammen med dig efter din reservation).

Afgangssted: Ved Marseille Cruise Pier, hvor dit krydstogtskib lægger til. Når du skal ud af krydstogtskibet, vil du se flere guider, der holder skilte. Cirka 5 minutter før vinturens afgangstidspunkt skal du kigge efter nogen, der holder et "Provence Wine Tour"-skilt. Adresse: Vi kan ikke give nogen præcis adresse, da det vil afhænge af, hvor dit krydstogtskib lægger til den dag. (Der er flere mulige placeringer i den store Marseille krydstogthavn). Vi er dog i kontakt med havnemyndighederne, og vi vil sørge for at komme til den dedikerede mole, hvor dit skib lægger til den dag.

We had the most wonderful day with Jean-Gabriel. He took us to the best wineries and had a wealth of knowledge about wine and wine making which he readily shared with us. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will definitely look for Jean-Gabriel the next time we are in the area.

A wonderful day of discovery with excellent wines, and what can I say about the Provençal decor! A short stop for lunch in Aix-en-Provence to discover the charm of the area. Very satisfied with our excursion and the guide Eric, who was very attentive.

This was the perfect tour for our family. Anya was a fantastic guide and took us to two fantastic wineries and then free time in Cassis. We had a fantastic lunch and my wife enjoyed strolling through the shops. Anya was very personable, knowledgeable and just a joy to be around. What a great tour!!

Great guide who was also the driver. He was very knowledgeable and patient with questions. The vehicle was extremely clean and his driving was impeccable. We visited two lovely wineries and got to spend a couple of hours in Aix.

Our driver was not at the ship at the scheduled time. No one informed us that he was going to be late so we got nervous and started walking to find him at perhaps another pier all the while trying to get in touch with Viator. We finally got in touch with Viator only to find out he was going to be late. Not a great start to ended up being a fabulous tour.

What an incredible company. Provence Wine Tours offered top notch service from the outset, and better than some other wine tour companies that I had communicated with previously. Laura was such a help creating the perfect itinerary for my family's first visit to France and determining what was possible during a short cruise excursion timeline. This was one of the most wonderful tours we’ve ever taken! The wineries were beautiful, family-owned, and the wine was exquisite. Eric was an incredible host. He made us feel welcome, knew the wine, knew history, knew the area, and helped my family tremendously! He kindly cared for my mother - who is in a wheelchair - and did all that he could to ensure that she could participate and feel comfortable. It was magical. We had a wonderful experience on our tour with a professional guide, who explained quite a bit about the region itself and the food and wine and culinary processes. We went to two wineries met the owner in one and the manager in the other. We tasted three different wines at each winery And got to walk amongst the grapes in the vineyard. Between the two visits we got to relax and have a lunch in the seaside village of Cassie. This was a very picturesque little village right on the water with many cafés and shops close by. I would definitelyrecommend this tour to others. The small group was for six people, and it was me my wife, my mother-in-law, and my brother-in-law as well as another couple who joined the group.

Our tour guide Loris met us right at the cruise port and led us on a awesome day of winetasting and sightseeing in the Provence region of France. Our morning was spent wine tasting at 2 separate vineyards each with their own distinctive methods for making wine. It provided a nice contrast and both make delicious wines. We then headed to the town of Aix-en Provence for a delicious lunch recommended by the tour company (They made the reservation for us weeks in advance) After lunch there was time to explore this lovely little town before Loris dropped us back at the port. They even handled the shipping back to the US of wines we purchased from the vineyards. It was an amazing excursion better than anything our ship could have provided.
