Mangrove tur, ridning, snorkling og strand i Roatan

Loved this trip! Carlos, our guide was excellent. Easy to find outside the Coxen hole port. Look for the Carolina blue shirts for Roatan Henry Tours. And I recommend buying Honduran chocolate at the gas station vs the “chocolate factory”. Excellent chocolate at way less cost.

We had an absolutely fantastic time, and Shem is the man! He was our go-to guy, and tour guide extraordinaire! Everything was just wonderful. Highly recommended.

It was a wonderful time and the team was very accommodating! Our cruise ship ended up having to use tenders to get on shore and my family ended up with a terrible boarding group, which made us miss our excursion meet up time by a whole hour. The tour team was able to produce a new itinerary for us that covered the two main things we wanted to experience AND were able to get us back on board before the last tender departed! The only thing we ended up missing from our initial package was the Mangrove Swamp tour, but that was worth the trade off. Shout out to Nicole (could be spelling it wrong) and our personalised driver Sheem for making our trip fun and as stress-free and possible!

Me and my wife had a wonderful experience on our tour. Our tour guide Kembron was really great. He showed us the incredible sights and views of the island and really helped us experience the beautiful culture of Roatán.

Kembron was amazing!!! He arrived early to pick us up, he was very personable, kind, knowledgeable and went beyond to ensure we enjoyed every experience. If you’re ever in Roatan, you must do this tour and request Kembron!! We are so appreciative!!

This was a great excursion that was very reasonably priced for the activities we did! Our driver Nicole was very nice and drove us all around the island, stopping for pictures and souvenirs whenever we asked. Captain Alex was awesome during the Mangrove Cruise. The horseback ride was rather short, but the horses are very well trained (and they knew the route) so it was very beginner-friendly. The staff there were also quite helpful at controlling the horses, helping you get on them, etc. The snorkeling was also great and the guides were very friendly! The only downsides were that finding the pickup point was a little difficult, as we had to leave the cruise terminal and venture down the street, asking several locals for help because there weren’t any signs. Also, the drive takes forever because the roads are so bad (though this is clearly not the tour operator’s fault). It took about an hour and a half to drive from the pickup point to the mangrove cruise, which was a little painful because we were only going about 20mph the whole time. Overall, though, we are very glad we booked this excursion and we had fun with all three activities. The tour operators were all very nice and professional, and you definitely get your money’s worth. One recommendation, though, is to bring a substantial amount of cash in low denominations. Cash tips are expected (they are certainly earned) at all three activities and the souvenir/food vendors rarely take credit cards, so you will need plenty of cash in low denominations to tip people and buy things.

What an amazing excursion!!! My best friend and I had such a wonderful time. I highly recommend this trip. So much fun in a single day.

This was a great excursion with Sheem as our private guide. We chose not to do the horseback riding but explore the island a little more. The mangroves with the tunnel were very special to see and the snorkeling was beautiful. We drove out with a boat towards the reef and saw lots of different fish, lobster and conches. Sheem was an outstanding guide, very professional and friendly. We would definitely use him again.
