Vi afhenter dig fra dit hotel i Cusco kl. 6: 30 og tager dig med vores private transport til Ollantaytambo, en køretur på omkring to timer.
Ved ankomsten i Ollantaytambo, vil vi gå til togstationen for at komme på toget til Aguas Calientes, byen, hvorfra du kommer til Machu Picchu. Togturen fra Ollantaytambo til Aguas Calientes tager omkring en og en halv time.
Ved ankomsten til Aguas Calientes omkring 10:00 om morgenen, vil vores akkrediterede guide tage dig til busstationen, hvor du vil hoppe på bussen til citadellet Machu Picchu. Busrejsen tager omkring tredive minutter, og du ankommer ved indgangen til Machu Picchu omkring 11: 00 om morgenen.
Ved ankomst til Machu Picchu passerer du en kontrol, så vi anbefaler, at du medbringer dit originale pas. Efter at have bestået kontrollen, vil vores akkrediterede guide tage dig med på en rundtur i citadellet i Machu Picchu. Du vil besøge landbrugsområdet, hvor du kan se landbrugsterrasser eller Andenes, som er strukturer opbygget af stenvægge i forskellige størrelser. I byområdet vil du besøge sektorerne Hurin eller Sacred Space og Hanan eller Residential Space. I den hellige sektor skiller Covergruppen, Solens Tempel, Det Kongelige Mausoleum, Kongeboligen, De Tre Vinduers Tempel, Hovedtemplet og Intihuatana-gruppen sig ud, som indtager den højeste plads i Det Hellige Rum. I boligsektoren vil du se forskellige grupper, såsom Condor-sektoren, Los Espejos de Agua (Los Morteros), Las Tres Portadas, Grupo Alto og Roca Sagrada. Efter at have besøgt alle disse steder tager du bussen tilbage til Aguas Calientes. Turen tager omkring tredive minutter.
Du ankommer til Aguas Calientes omkring kl. 13 og har fritid til at spise frokost, slappe af i termiske bade eller udforske byen. Du vil få cirka tre timer ledig tid. Efter dette, vil du vende tilbage til togstationen for at gå om bord på toget 6: 20 pm.
Efter en togrejse på omkring en og en halv time ankommer du til Ollantaytambo omkring 20:00.
Ved ankomsten til Ollantaytambo, vil vores private transport venter på at tage dig tilbage til Cusco, hvor du vil ankomme omkring 09:30.

A unique experience thanks to viajes speedy. Perfect organization of hotel pick-up at the bus and incarail train. A special thank you to Willian, our guide of this day who for two hours explained us a lot about the history of the site, the flora and fauna as well as some initiatives to help us take souvenir shots. We booked this trip at least 6 months in advance to ensure we secured a spot. The trip was well organised and the tour company stayed in touch with us from the point of booking all the way through to the end of the trip. The transport was also well organised, with a 3am taxi pick up from our hotel in Cusco to take us to Cusco station to get the bus to Ollantaytambo train station. This took about 2.5h before we boarded the train to Machu Picchu Pueblos station (Aguas Calientes) which took another 1.5h. Here we met the tour guide (Anthony) who accompanied us to the site on the 25m bus ride. All tickets were sorted in advance and provided electronically on WhatsApp. The tour of Machu Picchu (MP) took approximately 2h with Anthony taking us to all the key points on Circuit 2. This is the best circuit of the 3 available but we did not have the choice when booking so it turned out just fine. Anthony was well informed and provided a great insight into the history of the citadel and also was at hand to take the many many photos we wanted. The return journey took a lot longer and with a tight connection at Ollytantambo back to Cusco, we were worried about missing the bus however, it is clear that PeruRail own the trips and the bus waited until all passengers from the delayed train from MP arrived. A taxi was waiting for us at Cusco to take us back to the hotel, all included in the booking. A fabulous day for us and a bucket list item well and truly ticked. Thank you to Anthony and the tour company for making this a seamless tour and one for us to remember for a long time!

a shame, we paid for the excursion that promised us a refund, we finally cancelled, they ignored our messages and calls and never refunded us À FUÏRE!!!
agradecemos su comentario, pero estamos aqui para aclarar las cosas, desafortunadamente el viaje para machupicchu se planifica con mucho tiempo de anticipacion y para ello se debe comprar los boletos de ingreso a machupicchu , ticket de tren , ticket de bus y toda la logistica se hace con anticipacion y por esos motivos el pago es no reembolsable ya que la compañia de tren y los ingresos a machupicchu son no reembolsable entonces es facil de entender por que motivos es no reembolsable y lamentamos que no haya podido de llegar a hacer el tour por motivos personales que no pudo llegar y en consecuencia no hacer el tour. si yo hiciera el reembolso a mi quien me devuelve la plata con lo que se compro todos los boletos ya que esos boletos son intransferibles y no reembolsable
