I løbet af en rundvisning på ca. 3 timer lever og oplever nogle af de gamle håndværk broderi, ler, fliser og besøge en kaffefarm med kaffe, te og frugt smagning.

Denne tur er helt dedikeret til vores traditionelle kunst og kunsthåndværk, hvor du kan få fantastiske oplevelser og gøre det selv, der fungerer som et unikt minde, og hvor du kan observere processerne for produktion af værker i ler, broderi og keramik fra begyndelsen af processen til den sidste fase. Turen starter med et besøg i keramik i São Bento, hvor du kan observere smukke stykker lokalt produceret, foruden den typiske "gryde", der bruges til at tilberede den traditionelle oksekødgryderet "Alcatra". Derefter vil vi udforske et mere detaljeret arbejde, besøge Azorernes broderi, for mange et job, men også et kollegium af underholdning af høj kunstnerisk værdi. Som afslutning besøger vi en lille keramisk enhed, hvor du får mulighed for at male din egen flise, som du kan tage med dig, og det vil være et unikt minde.

This company was able to do a last minute arts & craft tour when other tours got cancelled. Paulo was a wonderful host/driver taking us to all best cultural spots on the island including the traditional ceramic shop, tile making & coffee plantation. The highlight of the trip was definitely visiting Jose and his wife. Jose spent a lot of time explaining coffee making process & then showing us all around his farm. The most delicious ending with homemade coffee & liquor. It was truly a memorable day that both my daughter & I considered the highlight of the trip!

This was a fun tour. It was great to see the crafting history of Terceira. So many of these trades today are replaced by machines! Our guide was the best. Not only did we get an arts and crafts tour, but he told us about the island, showed us where to have dinner. We made ceramic tiles that were not going to be ready until after we left, he said he would mail them to us. The day we left, he was back at our hotel, delivering our tiles! He went above and beyond that extra measure!!!!!!!
