Everything was perfect👌 From the pickup at the hotel to the friendly encounters and explanations at the stops, and the tour guide along the way, to the food with fantastic presentation👍. The price-performance ratio was completely satisfactory, and since you can also order a Vito instead of a Land Rover, the tour is manageable even with back problems. Our excellent tour guide Tarek Blah recommended a very nice tour with many different impressions👍. Furthermore, I must say that we have never had a better, more competent, and so wonderful tour guide as we have here, even though we vacation twice a year👌

After our arrival at the hotel, we had a welcome meeting with our tour guide Tarek Blah. He asked us what we would like to do, and that is how we ended up on the Land Rover tour. He did not exaggerate with his stories about how beautiful this tour would be. Everything was perfect, and we would trust Mr. Blah again and book a tour at any time. Regarding the tour: we had a super nice, friendly driver named PANOS, he was fantastic! He provided us with a lot of information about Crete, its history, and our points of interest. We had so much fun at the wine producer, the olive producer, and the goat farmer; to conclude, we went to a village where the view was magnificent and we had a delicious meal. This tour is worth the money; you do not get such information if you want to do it on your own!

Mr. Tarek Blah provided us with excellent advice, good organization, and everything went smoothly.
During a very nice and informative welcome session with our tour guide Tarek Blah at the Happy Days Hotel, we spontaneously decided to book the Land Rover safari for wine, olives, and shepherds. We did not regret it. It was an overall successful excursion, with many interesting pieces of information as well as delicious tastings. We drove both on the road and off-road. Everyone had a lot of fun—at least in our car. Milking the goats was also a huge fun for the participants. The concluding meal with a wonderful view rounded off the day. It was a great tour to get to know the land and its people. You got a lot for your money; we can only recommend the excursion further. Thank you again to Tarek Blah for the great recommendation!

The first surprise was the group size. We had been looking forward to an individual, small group. In fact, there were more than 50 people. A convoy of 4x4 vehicles set off with the smell of diesel and smoke towards the mountains. The cars were partly more than 25 years old. So much for sustainability. The driver made a strenuous effort to entertain us, as that was his task according to management. Shouldn't a driver focus on the road (partly challenging, narrow, and exposed track), the traffic, and the safety of his passengers? Distracted by discussions with the passengers, the driver missed the correct turn and led us onto an increasingly deteriorating dirt road with rough rocks and deep holes. It could not go any further. To make matters worse, the engine broke down. Previously, the mechanics/electronics/hydraulics of the old car had already caused problems. Now the driver was stressed, and the passengers were filled with fear and panic. We were hanging over an abyss, in a broken vehicle in the middle of the Cretan mountains, in the middle of nowhere. The driver called for help. We were able to transfer to a summoned car, while the other mobility-impaired, elderly passengers were actively assisted up the hill on foot. We were able to rejoin the remaining group. However, a relaxed atmosphere did not return. With a 2-hour delay, we finally reached our hotels. We had made it. In the future, we would prefer to experience the beautiful nature of Crete with other providers. !

Regarding the fuel smell you mentioned, when vehicles travel in convoy on mountain roads and windows are open, it can happen that diesel fumes from the vehicles ahead are noticeable, similar to driving behind a bus or coach. However, the rest of your comments, especially concerning safety and the condition of the vehicle, are taken very seriously, and we would very much like to look into this properly once we receive your details. Thank you very much to our tour guide Mr. Tarek Blah who made this tour very appealing to us. It was a beautiful tour on asphalt, but also passages through off-road terrain. It was very informative to get to know the country and its people. Interesting tours with subsequent tastings. The family of the shepherd welcomed and bid farewell to us very warmly.
