Udforsk den enorme skala af Auschwitz-lejren fra et unikt perspektiv. Begynd din tur med en pickup fra Bosacka 18. Så slappe af i 1,5 - timers kørsel til Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Vores tur begynder i Monowitz, hvor det nazistiske regime forvandlede menneskeliv til en ressource. Du vil se resterne af lejren, hvor tusindvis af fanger, herunder Nobelprisvinderen Elie Wiesel, udholdt ufattelige forhold, mens de arbejdede for den tyske krigsmaskine.
Når vi bevæger os mod de vigtigste lejre, passerer vi gennem byen Oświęcim. Dette giver et afgørende øjeblik for refleksion på byens jødiske historie før krigen og hvordan den lokale befolkning levede i den umiddelbare skygge af lejrene.
Vi udforsker omkredsen af "Stammlager" (Auschwitz I). Stående ved de oprindelige hegn, vil du se det administrative hjerte af komplekset. En nøgle stop er huset til Rudolf Höss, lejrkommandanten. At se, hvor han levede et "normalt" familieliv blot meter fra krematoriumets skorsten giver et dybt blik på "ondhedens banalitet".
Herefter besøger vi den autentiske jernbanestation, der ligger mellem lejrene. Det var her, de fleste tog ankom indtil 1944. Det er et kraftfuldt, roligt sted, hvor "udvælgelsen" af tusindvis af mennesker fandt sted - et sted, der ofte savnes af standard museumsture.
Auschwitz II-Birkenau (ekstern udforskning): Du vil være vidne til den overvældende omfang af den største dødslejr. Fra omkredsen og den ikoniske "Dødsporten" vil din guide forklare layouten af ruinerne af gaskamrene og fangernes levevilkår.
Afslut din tur og gå tilbage til Kraków til udgangspunktet, og se forskellige vartegn på vejen. Rejs tilbage til det centrale Krakow og afslut med et drop-off i byen.

I booked this as a last-minute tour. That being said, what you get to see is extremely limited. If everything is already booked, then this would be your alternative. Other than that, I would recommend booking another tour because this one leaves you feeling like you showed up to see Auschwitz but got turned away at the door.
We had the best experience on our tour .. from start to finish .. our guide Damien was amazing .. he was full of knowledge and was passionate about the whole tour .. he didnt hesitate to respond to any questions in fact encouraged us to ask so we weren't left with any unanswered questions. I loved the fact it was headsets and you could just brows around the particular room we were in and still listen to all the information Damien was giving us .. the groups were kept 2 a small group and everything was really well organised. I wasnt the most knowledgeable about the the whole thing but came away full of knowledge and have since watched a few films since been back recommended by damien and it makes u watch the film with a whole different outlook once you have visited.. highly recommend if visiting krakow

The guide was fantastic—in-depth explanations delivered with genuine feeling. Even though it wasn't possible to visit the museum—only the exteriors of the sites—it allowed us to fully experience the atmosphere.

Great atmosphere in a smaller group and excellent storytelling by our friendly guide Damian. Amazing experience. Our guide Damien was amazing and knowledgeable. Although we didn't get to go into most of the places, seeing it and learning about it was what I came for. And the group was small so it felt personal and friendly.

The tour was excellent and very well priced. Our tour guide Damian was an excellent tour guide and this something everyone should visit. Even tho the tour didn’t include inside Damian did an excellent job at explaining all the details to ensure we didn’t miss out on anything, the storytelling was great

We had a really good trip with Damian as a guide. It was very exciting and worked really well, even since it was a last minute decision. We thought the guide told lively and interested about the various things, and the tour had a suitable length. We had a good experience overall!

It was a very emotional experience. Unfortunately, we were unable to enter the concentration camps and the museum due to a last-minute cancellation by another provider, but Damian, our guide, was incredibly good at explaining all the history from outside, giving us very personalized attention thanks to the small group size, and he saved us from missing Auschwitz during our visit to Kraków.
