Din tur begynder med transport fra Krakow til Wieliczka Town, hvor der er en saltmine. Afhentning med bus fra et forudbestemt sted (hotel eller andet sted efter eget valg) på en angivet dato og tidspunkt. Transporten tager omkring 30 minutter.
Som en del af besøget modtager du en individuel adgangsbillet til saltminen og en professionel, dit sprogtalende guide. Guiden er tilgængelig på et af de udvalgte sprog: engelsk, tysk, fransk, spansk, italiensk, russisk. Besøget i Saltminen foregår i grupper på op til 30 personer. Du vil også modtage et sæt hovedtelefoner under din tur. Minen har 9 niveauer, under jorden. Under turen vil du lære om saltminedriftens historie i særlige historiske perioder. Med en guide vil du besøge en labyrint af korridorer og et kompleks af tematiske kamre, hvor der er talrige skulpturer, kapeller hugget ind i klippen og en underjordisk sø. Mærk det unikke mikroklima i minen, som er ideelt for mennesker, der lider af astma og allergier, og mærk fordelene for dit helbred. Efter at have gennemført turen vender du tilbage med en elevator til jorden. Efter sightseeingen vender du tilbage til parkeringspladsen, hvor din chauffør venter på dig.
Når du er færdig med at udforske saltminen og vende tilbage til bilen. Chaufføren vil tage dig til et forudbestemt sted i Krakow til dit hotel eller til den gamle bydel, hovedtorvet (i henhold til din beslutning).

Picked up at arranged time by Jacob extremely polite and helpful. Gave clear instructions for when we finished tour. on return he was waiting. then asked where we would like to be dropped off. Highly recommended 👌
Great experience! Super easy, driver picked us up right on time from our hotel and we took the very short drive to the mines. The tour was absolutely fantastic. The only minor “frustration” is that the lift back to the surface at the end takes about 15 minutes of waiting in line. Other than that though - Breathtaking tour!
Our driver Oscar, was so pleasant and informative…he was available to answer questions about Krakow, the Polish language and Poland in general. Our guide at the salt mines was 100% delightful and provided so many interesting facts about the mine. Highly recommend the tour
The driver was efficient and friendly. They pick you up and get you to the salt mines, where a mine employee then takes over and gives the tour. Tickets were included.

The tour consists of getting picked up by a driver and transported to the mine. At the mine, a guide meets up who I assume is one of the mine's guides and who'll take you through the mine tour (tourist route). The driver was friendly and did a great job navigating the narrow one-way streets. As for the tour in the mine, the guide spoke very quickly and had a bit of an accent which made it difficult to understand her. If you got too far away from the guide, the headset stopped picking up what she said. The mine in itself is cool but too crowded, with groups that are too large. Music/light shows that could have felt impactful lost impact when kids where playing with the flashlight on their parents' mobile phones. As for the mine itself, the chapel was gorgeous. The rooms with the underground lake were too. Other rooms were a bit meh and seeing more of the genuine mine roads and hearing more about the work in the mine would have been more interesting than seeing the dolls that have been put up. it all felt a bit too adapted for tourists, not a genuine experience and not really a learning experience either since there wasn't much of a deep delve into the miner's everyday. There are a lot of stairs in the mines, but most of them go down so for anybody who is no movement impaired it should not be a problem. But- if you have any trouble walking in stairs- this place is NOT for you. Nor if you have any trouble walking at all. My smart watch counted 7000 steps to get through the tour. I was worried about the temperature in the mine since I've been to mines that were really cold, but I was comfortable in a t-shirt. At the end of the tour you take the elevator back to the surface- the elevator is small and cramped, there were long lines for it and many people squeezed in tightly into them, so if you have any tendency for claustrophobia- this is not for you. There's a restaurant at the end of the tour, it's a bit of a tourist trap but convenient. Anyway, the Tripadvisor tour- perfectly fine, no complaints. The actual mines- Nice to see but i won't be going back.
We walked to pickup point which with Google Maps is NO problem. Krakow Direct was vendor.
Very unbelievable to see first hand. Wonderful site. Be sure to have comfortable shoes as you’ll walk down many many steps.
Oscar, our driver was so processional, was there before time waiting. He couldn’t have been nicer. The only downside was the guide in the mine had poor English, and delivered everything in a monotone. The audio quality didn’t help.
