KOBBERHÅNDVÆRKSTED (Lav din egen souvenir fra Sarajevo)

Beskrivelse

Rejsende vil møde bødkersmedekunstneren i hans farverige butik.

The Copper Workshop in Sarajevo offers a fascinating glimpse into one of the city's oldest crafts. Visiting the workshop is more than a shopping experience—it's an opportunity to appreciate the craftsmanship that has kept this centuries-old tradition alive in the heart of Baščaršija.
Charming and fun…really wanted us to make a nice bracelet and enjoy ourselves…his shop was in a nice community- lots of indolent cats! This was a very pleasant experience and we love and still wear our bracelets! I highly recommend…
My husband and I both had a blast! We first enjoyed a short tour and were told how art played a large roll in rejuvenation of the city after the war. Then we headed to the studio to create our own artwork. The instructor was amazing, we laughed, learned and left with a souvenir of our own creation. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
This experience really showcases the skill required to make any object out of a flat piece of tin. Our guide was patient and kind. My husband did all the hard work and I watched in appreciation.
This was such a quirky and fun experience for us and the guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide, Mak, was really personable and great to talk to. He had a great knowledge of the city, country, and of the artwork therein and we got a lot out of our time on this tour, and of the full day to Mostar tour the following day. What stands these tours apart from others, we thought, is that the guides speak to you as friends and are very open and generous with their time. I really think that says a lot about how the company is run and the type of people that work there and I cannot recommend them more.
i spend a great time with Sulej (the teacher) he showed me different technics of coppersmith and at the end i created my own personnal ring. He's extremely friendly and a good teacher.
Dear Martin, we are very happy to read these kind words and pleasured guiding you. Thank you very much. Enjoy Sarajevo! Sincerely, Art and Tours Sarajevo
It was awesome to experiene this local craft. I had so much fun doing it and Suleymen was a positive teacher. He helped both with the design and the technique. Circles might not be the smartest option for a first time but hey where is the fun when not challenge yourself and see what comes out :-) It pleasently surprised me. Afterwards when I was looking around and thinking about what to buy as gifts he came with the idea to design my own copper coffee cup holders (oi I forgot how it is called). So we came up with two designs and as a result I have unique presents for home made by a local artist. Absolutely recommended to do this!
This experience my partner and I did was amazing! I highly recommend doing this tour and craft, it’s something unique I wouldn’t be able to do back home. Sulejmen was super helpful, experienced and lovely we had a great time with his guidance and learnt a lot more about the Bosnian art, architecture and unique things about Bosnia and Herzegovina! This is a must do in Bosnia and Herzegovina!!!
The artisan is patient and is bringing 21st century design to an old craft. He provides numerous designs and ideas that can be accomplished easily in time provided. Tour company gives a brief but informative tour of art and architecture before workshop. He has inspired me to build skill in this craft when I return home. My art piece is a great memory of trip and experience in his workshop.
I and two other exchange students here in Sarajevo came across this workshop and learned a lot about the traditional artisans. We spent about 3 hours with our skilled teacher, Suleymen, learning how to make a souvenir of our choice. He was very entertaining and figured out ways for all of us to realize our design ideas. The earrings I made will be very dear memories of my time in Sarajevo, and hopefully I can bring my mother to try the workshop as well when she makes it here.
