Oplev en japansk teceremoni i Chikusuian i Kita-Kamakura. Se en instruktør forberede matcha, pisk den selv og nyd to portioner med japanske søde sager i en fredelig tehus. Under denne 60-minutters oplevelse opdager du omsorgen bag ceremoniens redskaber og bevægelser. Din instruktør vil Vejleder dig igennem grundlæggende etikette og matcha-tilberedning. Ingen erfaring er nødvendig, og en engelsk tolk vil hjælpe dig med at følge med. Nyd to typer søde sager: omogashi (en blød konfekt) og higashi (en tør konfekt). For reservationer foretaget dagen før eller på dagen, erstatter en alternativ sød omogashi. At knæle er ikke påkrævet. Seiza-støtter og stolestole til teceremoniteller er tilgængelige. Tag en pause fra at udforske Kamakuras templer og historiske gader for at opdage japansk kultur gennem forberedelse og deling af te.

A beautiful addition to a visit to Japan
This tea ceremony experience was lovely! The setting, in a tatami room beside a beautiful Japanese garden, was so peaceful and picturesque. Our family (myself, my husband, and our two tween daughters) found it to be an interesting look into Japanese culture and history. One caveat to be aware of, it was not super comprehensive on teaching all about the tea ceremony. It was more about experiencing the ceremony, taking you through the steps. But the host was wide open to answering questions. So, if you are craving a more comprehensively educational experience, come with some questions prepared.

Matcha experience with international guests
I participated with guests from overseas. The English interpreter was there and the teacher was a lovely person and I was able to experience Japanese culture slowly. Thank you very much.

Great tea ceremony
Wonderful experience; the moment to slow down from our busy life. It was absolutely worth it to see such an authentic tea ceremony.

Authentic intro to time- honored tradition
Away from the bustle of crowded tourist sites, we experienced a delightful one-hour introduction to the Japanese tea ceremony in a traditional house. Our host was poised and gracious and educated us on the basics and history of the ritual, with the aid of an interpreter. This is a must-do when visiting Kamakura!

We participate in a Japanese traditional ceramony that is spectacular in its beauty, the staff is great and happy to host guests. I highly recommend coming and being impressed.
