Vi vil køre dig forbi den gamle bydel i Konstantinopel, mens vores guide vil give dig alle historiske oplysninger bag disse mure. Og den tredje er det sidste palads af byzantinske kejsere Tekfur Palace, og den sidste er skjult Nakkas Cistern. Et hemmeligt landemærke i centrum af Istanbul. Du vil stoppe ved Yedikule Fortress Museum eller kaldet Seven Dungeons, hvor den første osmanniske sultan er blevet kvæstet af sin egen mand og også fængsel til kongelige kristne, der er blevet fanget af det osmanniske imperium. Efter Seven Dungeons, vil vi køre dig ved de gamle bymure til Chora kirke.
Det interessante ved denne kirke er MOSAİCS og İcons, vil du se afbildning af mosaikker og ikoner er baseret på historien om kristendom og dynasti og livet af Jesus Kristus er blevet afbildet som dokumenter. Nakkas Cistern. Et hemmeligt landemærke i centrum af Istanbul! Byen Konstantinopel har formidable befæstning bymure... men i bunden af tiden, det var ikke nok bare at have bymure. Istanbul eller Konstantinopel havde ikke tilstrækkelige vandkilder, så fjenderne ville belejre byen og vente på dem til at overgive sig! Og der kommer de romerske geniale ingeniørløsninger til problemet ved at bygge vand cisterner under jorden, under byen! Vi vil være i stand til at give dig alle detaljer mellem byens mure og cisternen. Dette er en slags skjult cistern, som ikke mange mennesker kender! Du kan gå forbi hver dag, men du tror det er bare et tæppe og smykker butik... men det er mere end det... Og med licenseret certifikat guide du ikke betale nogen gebyr..

This was a great tour. Even on an unlucky day where some entries were cancelled due to snow, I'm very happy. We got to see my main interest (the Walls), and other great items I hand't really knownabout (Chora church). The guide Aydin was knowledgeable, and always had info to share. We were able to customize a few items with extra time due to the closed locations, and I even finished my shopping for family. The hotel pickup/dropoff made it all easy, even from downtown. I'd recommend this, and might even do it again myself in better weather.
I took this tour on an unlucky day when snow closed a few places, but it was still worth it. I got the see the main attraction i was interested in (the Walls), and others that were a great surprise (Chora church). Aydin was a great and knowledgeable guide, and had information to add at all times. The city transfers made this easy to do, even from downtown. We were able to do some custom stops with the extra time from the closed locations, and I was able to finish shopping for family there. The cost was more than other tours I had seen, and I think it was worth it. I'd highly recommend this, and would do it again myself in better weather in the future.
Aydin was great! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic on the topics. Happy to be our photographer as well and adjust to whatever was best for us. Very cool seeing the city walls and Chora church was awesome!
Outstanding tour. In the United States A series on the Ottoman Empire and there was a a length series on the sieges of Constantinople and how Great the City walls were in stopping multiple attempts to break and loot the city. This tour and our guide Aydin took us on the walls, the dudgeons the areas where prisoners were executed . Aydin explained it all , including the three walls the moat. And how the city finally fell to the Ottomans. It was amazing! Aydin was very good, knowledgeable great clear English. And I am hard of hearing. He also took care of my wife. Helping on steps and preventing stumbles. I ask him to take us to see the Blue Mosque and the Haigh Sophia. Both tours were excellent as well. What a great day! Our driver was also excellent. Very tight streets he saved us many steps and climbs up hill.
This is just amazing tour! From the driver who picked up us from our hotel until the guide who was certainly very knowledgeable and with amazing attitude! Just want to let you know, this is a unique tour! You can find many city tours but not old city walls itinerary like this. Our guide Aydin had unbelievable knowledge and passion about the history and got us back to the Roman Empire time and how those fortification held many enemies away from the city! Chora Church ⛪️ was breathtaking, specially while the guide was putting all mosaic depiction in amazing explanation...
My wife’s top attraction to see in Istanbul was the Wall. It lived up to her expectations. The tour guide Aiden was wonderful. Experience and knowledge. He knows the perfect locations to show us. An added benefit is we were the only tourists at the site.

This is We had a quick 2 day stay over in Istanbul, and that Aydın and his team helped arrange some great tours so we could pack in the sites as much as we could. They were in constant communication, and our guide Aydın was fabulous and so well informed on the history of the sites we were seeing along with things on the way. They are flexible and could change course easily if we needed to during our tour visits. They also arranged all our airport transfers, and they all went beautifully! I highly recommend this tour and their services. For English speakers, Aydin is a fabulous English speaking guide with a fun personality. We loved Istanbul and can't wait to go back!! Aydın is not just a guide his a historian at the same time with different perspectives on the city walls of Istanbul! He is passionate about what he does and is fully aware of the visitors' needs once engaged! You are not just having a normal regular guide, you are having so much more than that!
