Denne 8 timers tur starter på Hippodrome Square fortsætter til den blå moske som en af byens seværdigheder. Så besøg St. Sophia Museum, en af de mest storslåede byzantinske kirker. Fortsæt til Topkapi-paladset, det kejserlige residens i Det Store Osmanniske Rige, i dag et museum med stor samling porcelæn og visning af hellige relikvier. Fortsæt til Little Hagia Sofia og Grand Bazaar, fristende souvenirjægere med sin rige samling af dyrebare håndlavede tæpper, smykker og læder, hvor turen slutter. Frokost på en lokal restaurant serveres under rejsen.

Istanbul har sine monumentale helligdomme af forskellige trosretninger, og Den Blå Moské er nok et af de mest berømte mesterværker af osmannisk religiøs arkitektur. Stående i stor prestige med sine seks minareter og perfekt proportionerede kuppel, er det opkaldt efter sine turkis farvede fliser lavet af kvarts mineraler. Osmanske sultaner foretrak at bede i denne tidløse helligdom på grund af sin uforlignelige skønhed, indtil imperiet kollapsede efter verdenskrig.
Den romerske Hippodrome af den herlige fortid viser i dag den berømte Obelisken af Theodosius og Serpentine søjle dateret tilbage til det 5. århundrede f.Kr.
Basilica of Saint Sophia, en af de største kristne helligdomme nogensinde bygget i historien. Prydet med rige mosaik muralmalerier, kolossale søjler og eksponering af guddommelig ro, Saint Sophia er en sand verdensarv, der har rummet forskellige trosretninger gennem forskellige perioder i historien og er i øjeblikket drives som et museum, der udstiller byzantinsk kunst og arkitektur udsmykket af osmannisk smag.

The sites are great to see, but our guide walked too fast and many of us found it hard to keep up. In addition, his accent was difficult to understand compared to guides on other Viator tours this trip. He offered many facts but didn’t interpret what he told us. Came across as a bit dry.

We were very lucky to have good weather until the end when a thunderstorm broke. The tour with Ahmed was interesting. Possibly too much to fit in comfortably in one day but we are pleased that the tour allowed us to see the major sites . The pick up from the hotel was on time and after a lot of walking the return trip by bus was welcome!

Great experience. An amazing tour of the key historical sites in Istanbul in one day. Our guide, Ms Fatma was very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail and allowed us to spend as much time as needed at each location. We had a wonderful multi-course lunch at a nearby restaurant as part of the tour. Highly recommend.

We booked this tour to try and see as many things in the old part of Istanbul. Our guide Umutcan was amazing. He met us right on time at our hotel. He was so knowledgeable and knew detailed history for each site we visited. Lunch was at Anka Palace with a a great view of the water and the food was very good. We would absolutely book this tour again
Amazing tour. Saw all the major sites without having to wait in ticket line and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken in explaining the rich history of turkey and the relevance of each historic site. We had a wonderful lunch at a hotel rooftop as well all included! Would 100% recommend this tour.
