Gedikpasa Hamami tilbyder en unik tyrkisk badoplevelse, dækket i 550 års historie, som blev bygget til en 2350 kvadratmeter zone i den gamle bydel i Istanbul ved kommandoen af Gedik Ahmet Pasha i 1457, med en betagende 16 meter høj cieling. Beliggende lige over for den ikoniske Grand Bazaar, dette historiske bad er ikke kun et sted for rensning, men en rejse ind i hjertet af tyrkisk tradition, få dig serveret i separate sektioner som mænd og kvinder, med samme køn terapeut tjenester, en række massage og udvalg af privatliv. Når du kommer ind i hamam, bliver du mødt af varmen af marmorgulve og det bløde ekko af vand. Ritualet begynder med et afslappende dampbad, der forbereder huden til den fulde eksfoliering, der følger. En dygtig servitør bruger en traditionel kese (scrubbing mitt) til at fjerne død hud, hvilket efterlader dig forfrisket og revitaliseret. First experience visiting a Turkish hammer and it was memorable to be sure! We arrived almost an hour early but the friendly staff said they could take us immediately. First up was a 15-minute hot marble rest in a very hot steam room. Next was a 10-minute hard body scrub and a 20-minute foam massage. We also added a 30 minute oil massage. The experience was INTENSE, much more aggressive than any massage I've had previously. I probably will stick to my more relaxing Swedish massages from now on, but I'm glad I got to experience this at least once.

Very nice experience. It was our first time. A great moment for me and my adult daughter. What an experience. We made turkish bath with massage, plus foot massage and face mask, We recomend. Chidem is a very nice and kind lady who made the treatment to me. And Turkam made my daughter’s, very nice too.
Came with my friend and we opted for the 140 Euro hammam with oil massage. It was well worth it and Turcan, my therapist, was fabulous. It was my first time in a hammam and I will definitely be back!! I felt very comfortable and safe and taken care of.
Such a beautiful, traditional and memorable experience! This was my first hammam ever and i was guided through it gracefully! Could not recommend it enough, truly a must do!

I’ll admit I was a bit nervous going to a hamam. It was something I’ve always wanted to try. I need not have worried. It’s such a beautiful historical place, over 500 years old. The staff guided us through every step of the way. Men and women go off in separate directions. You have a changing room where you leave your belongings and take the key. You’re given disposable undies and a Turkish towel and go downstairs to the hamam where you relax on the hot marble. It’s hot but not like a sauna or steam room, easy to breathe. Then you’re taken for your scrub and soap. It’s like being scrubbed by your mum when you were a kid …. My therapist Turkan was very good. I felt like I had new skin - just less of it ! Finished with a thirty minute oil massage. Lovely ! I’m pretty sure you could walk in without a booking if you’re not sure ..
We had a DYI Hammam bath option for 50€ and the experience was just wonderful. Polite staff, all equipment and instructions were included and a sweet compliment and tea after the Hammam. The venue wasn’t very busy and we stayed as long as we wanted (~2.5 hours).
