Oversigt Trekking tur til vulkanen ijen fra Banyuwangi. Din guide vil tage dig til at stige op til toppen af vulkanen ijen gennem mørket. Undervejs op ad bakken møder du den stærke mand kaldet svovlminearbejder. De bærer tunge rygbrydende læs af svovl på deres skuldre med bambuskurve. Den bærer svovl omkring 80-100 kg på én måde. Når du ankommer på toppen, går du direkte til solopgangsstedet. Når solen bryder himlen med sit lys, (hvis vejret er klart) vil du se skønheden på Ijen-plateauet. En af de største sure søer på jorden med turkis farve. Alt sikkerhedsudstyr leveres på denne tur.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Java and an absolutely unforgettable experience. Both the blue fire and view from the crater rim were incredible, and even more special due to the unique time of day! Our driver Riko and guide Ekshal were both excellent. Ekshal was good at looking after our family, going at our pace, and was assertive but not pushy in situations when we were trying to get down to see the blue fire in time or trying to get closer to take photos (as there are hundreds of other people all jostling to see it too). Be aware that it's about 10km hiking all up (unless you get a lift in one of the trolley carts) - 3.5km uphill to the crater rim, about 1km down a very narrow rocky track to the blue fire, 1km back up, another 1km to and from another lookout point on the rim, then 3.5km back down. Due to the steep track up and down, I would only undertake it with a reasonable level of fitness and no major health issues as it would be hard to get out with the crowds if something goes wrong. We took a 10 year old and 13 year old who could both manage the walking easily, but found the sulphur smoke/fumes a bit scary as it stings your eyes if you don't turn away. But they definitely enjoyed the experience too. Our driver also helped us buy tickets to the Ketapang ferry which we really appreciated.

We had an amazing experience hiking to the Ijen volcano. We didn't fancy going into the crater so we asked if we could leave a little later and just go for sunrise, they were really accommodating and sorted everything out for us. The hike was great, and our tour guide Yadi was fantastic, really nice and interesting guy and spoke great English. We got a perfectly clear morning and the view was incredible. Would highly recommend East Java Paradise Travel, very professional, got back to any messages straight away and made everything really easy for us.

Our tour with East Java Paradise Travel to hike Ijen was nothing short of extraordinary. Our driver Rizal was early to pick us up, accommodating, and very safe. Our guide Yoga was really great, full of energy, and fine with our fast-pace hiking to beat the crowds (ha!). The marvel of this famous volcanic blue flame followed a breathtaking panoramic sunrise view was one of the best travel experiences we’ve had, made easier by the expert coordination of this company. We even got to meet Yoga’s famous father who is a sulfur miner of over 30 years. This made our excursion even more authentic and memorable. Highly recommend this tour, and this company, to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Ijen!

This trip was amazing. Our tour guide Tony and his driver were lovely, was an enjoyable experience. They helped us get a medical form on the day and gave us all the equipment we would need. The views were stunning and once in a lifetime. We must say though, please prioritise rest before this trip. The trek takes around 4 hours total, and is pretty tiring, you definitely need a good level fitness!!

I participated in the Ijen tour. It was a natural phenomenon and I did not see it at its best, but it was nice to be able to experience nature in the shortest time possible on a package tour. Also my driver Rizal was very helpful. I would like to request him again next time when I book a tour with this company

Great trip up to Ijen crater with driver (Rizal) and guide (Nido). Very friendly and helpful, fantastic views at the top. Nido is an excellent photographer who took lots of great videos and photos and knew all the best places for views and photos. Unfortunately we weren't able to see the blue fire as it too dangerous.

Me and my girlfriend had the most amazing experience with our wonderful tour guide Tony and our driver Mr Rizal. It was very well organised with a timely pickup and handing of gas mask, head torch, hot drinks, water and snacks. Tony was very prompt and managed to get us right at the front of the trek and away from the large crowd for a more peaceful experience. The hike into Ijen crater itself was tough and a lot of caution needs to be advised when walking the rock path down as it can be very slippery with little safety features. However, the blue flames were breathtaking to see. The sunrise portion of the trek was also lovely as Tony took us to a secluded area to watch the sunrise which was breathtaking with a lovely view of Java and a mesmerising view of the crater from distance. Overall, an experience worth the money. I also want to say a special thank you to Tony who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to have a laugh.

This is definitely one of the best tours I have done ! I'm so soo glad I have booked with them because they made the day more special than what already was! My partner and I did the hike on the day of my Birthday and my partner proposed to me on the top looking at the crater. Our guide help us all the way and was extremely kind , helpful and just such a nice person . He made sure we saw the blue fires ( you have to be quite quick going up the hike if you want to make sure you see them as they go away when the sun goes up) , so he helped us all the way along and took many pictures and video for us at the blue fire . He recorded the proposal and had all the patience for us to be in the moment and enjoy the place. On the way down , when we reached the camp ground , our guide give me a Birthday cake as a surprise and sang me Happy Birthday which was so nice of him and I will never forget how special they made me feel. We also went to fruit market and our guide got me delicious fruit to try and bot me a bag to take home ! If you want to have the best time and someone that cares about the small things, I recommend them 10000% and you will not regret it ! Thank you so much for being part of this amazing day
