Første stop på dagen er den ikoniske Seljalandsfoss. En kæbe faldende majestætisk syn med mulighed for at gå bag vandfaldet! Efter at have nydt Seljalandsfoss tager vi en kort vandretur til sin nabo Gljúfrarbúi (den, der bor i bjerget) for at undre sig over dens skønhed. Som navnet antyder, er vandfaldet skjult inde i bjerget, men let at finde, når du kender ruten.
Vi tager videre til landsbyen Vík í Mýrdal, en forbløffende lille landsby og nok en af de mest fotograferede bosættelser på Island. Den ikoniske kirke ses i alle billedannoncer, og udsigten fra kirken er betagende. Vi tager vores frokostpause der, før vi fortsætter vores rejser.
Den sorte sandstrand i Reynisfjara er en af de største attraktioner i Island og de ikoniske Reynisdrangar klipper, der skiller sig ud fra havet. Vær forsigtig, tidevandet kan snige sig op på dig.
Vi tager en tur på den vilde side mod gletsjere og placerer forsigtigt vores fødder ved kanten. Tag et selfie og voila, vi kan hævde at have steget på en gletscher.
Den majestætiske Skógarfoss vandfald er 60 meter høj ikke mindre. Man kan tilbringe timer med at stirre på det. Vi vil bruge 30 minutter på at gøre det

Afhentningssteder og tider
Afhentning starter 30 minutter før afgangstiden. Vær venligst klar på din afhentningssted, da minibussen vil samle alle passagerer i den 30 minutters tidsramme. På grund af byens bestemmelser er store køretøjer forbudt at komme ind på nogle gader i centrum af Reykjavik. Derfor anvendes brugen af visse pickup og drop off punkter, der henvises til busstoppesteder.

Even though it was a very rainy day, the tour was wonderful and our guide made it fun. Unlike some other tours (non-Viator) we had plenty of time at each stop. The driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area and made the drive a very memorable experience. Also, the price is very reasonable and 1/3rd of what the cruise line wanted to charge. Though it is a long tour, it was broken up in a way to allow for bathroom breaks. We have never gone wrong with Viator!
The Iceland South Coast sites small group tour that we went on was fantastic! It was done by East West Tours and our tour guide was Martin. Martin was a wealth of Icelandic folklore, knowledge about all the sites we saw, and Icelandic statistics! We couldn’t have had a better tour guide! If you booked this tour, I recommend you ask for Martin !💙 Godafoss Falls is spectacular. the black sand Beach is amazing, the church in Vik is a great viewing point, and the Sólheimajökull Glacier was incredible!!!

Great tour. Our guide was very informative and pointed out many things as we were driving. All of the stops were good. Our guide watched the weather and mixed up the order to save us from hitting the best sights in the rain
Great tour with a real mixture of sights. Small comfortable bus. Best of all was the guide - Michaela - who has a great sense of humour; kept us well informed; and kept checking the weather reports to rearrange the order of sights visited. She was brilliant. She also allowed just the right amount of time at each stop - long enough that you didn't feel rushed, but short enough that you weren't kicking your heels. Do take waterproofs for the waterfall visits!
The best tour we did in Iceland. Excellent guide, comfortable bus and great locations. Wished we had booked our other tours with Eastwest.
This was an enjoyable day trip! Our guide, Oscar, was top notch. He shared a lot of interesting facts during our drives between stops. The south coast landscape is incredible and not to be missed. I had my elder mother with me and she was able to participate in everything except walking behind the waterfall. She was happy to sit and watch the waterfall. Plenty of time was spent at each site with opportunities to buy coffee, lunch or snacks along the way. Highly recommended!
Leroy with Easywest did a great job with our tour today! He was energetic and entertaining and we learned a lot! The time at each location gave tourists ample exploring/eating opportunities! My favorite spots were the black sand beach and the secret waterfall!
Very informative and friendly. Bus was very comfortable and had convenient bathroom stops. Rodger made the experience a once in a lifetime memory, making Iceland enchanting.
It was beautiful. Driver was friendly and informative when asked specific questions. Highly recommend doing this tour.
