Peter was a brilliant guide. He customized the tour to what we wanted. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, just a beautiful soul! Where he took us was mind-blowing. Loved the scenery, loved the wineries, loved it all!!! So many incredible memories we will be taking back to Australia. We highly recommend his tour. You will be in for a treat!
Peter was our guide for 2 days. On day one we did a half day Cape Town tour that included the highlights of Cape Town and the surrounding area. On day 2 we went to Stellenbosch where we made wine tasting stops at 2 vineyards and lunch at a third. Peter was fantastic. His van is new and clean and comfortable for our group of 4. He is extremely knowledgeable about Africa and Cape Town and was able to explain the history of the sites we visited and the development of the wine industry. His vineyard selections were excellent. If you like wine you must schedule a wine tasting day while in Cape Town. Peter was punctual, professional and extremely friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend.
Peter was such an incredible tour guide. I loved every wine farm and place that he took me to. I travelled to South Africa solo. It was such a privilege to join his tour solo. I love sweet wines and Peter kindly helped me to visit the farms that offered a sweet wine tasting. He exceeded my expectations! I would recommend a tour with Peter to everyone.
I chose this tour because not many operators include a visit to Babylonstoren, and most require a minimum of two people, which can be difficult as a solo traveler. This tour was happy to accommodate solo guests, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was extremely happy with the experience — I even ended up having a private tour, which made the day feel extra special. Peter is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing his favorite places. His passion for the region and its wineries really shines through. He was also very flexible and happy to adjust the itinerary to suit my preferences, which made the experience feel very personal. By the end of the day, it honestly felt like I had spent the day exploring with a friend. The price was more than fair for what I received. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town and wanting to see hidden gems in the wineland region.
