Gå blandt dampende ventilatorer, kogende pools og livlige mineralkilder i Islands mest aktive geotermiske park. Se Strokkur gejser udbryde dramatisk hver 5-7 minutter - nogle gange sender kogende vand op til 40 meter i luften. Du vil også støde på Blesi, et smukt par kontrasterende varme kilder, den ene krystalklar og dampende, den anden kold og levende blå.
Vidne til en af Islands mest magtfulde og ikoniske vandfald. Fodret af smeltet vand fra Langjökull-gletsjeren, kolliderer Gullfoss i to dramatiske stadier ind i en ru kanjon. På klare dage kan du endda se den slående bjerghøj Jarlhettur i det fjerne, med Langjökull stiger bag den.
En unik og hyggelig frokost stop på Friðheimar. Denne familiedrevne drivhusrestaurant er berømt for sin friske tomatkøkken, måske lige inde i et fungerende geotermisk drivhus. Højdepunktet er deres velkendte tomatsuppe med friskbagt brød, der tilbyder en varm og smagfuld pause, mens de lærer om bæredygtig landbrug på Island.

We loved this excursion and really enjoyed our excellent tour guide, Kristo. We had only 12 people in our tour group so a nice size. The tomato farm in particular was my favorite part and such a worthy visit. The unlimited soup and bread was amazing and we loved learning how the tomatoes are grown. The lagoon at the end of the excursion was so relaxing and also worth visiting. There are private shower stalls available in addition to the open ones so we appreciated having that option. However, be warned that towels were not provided so bring your own unless you want to rent.
Fabulous experience getting a true variety of what Iceland has to offer. If you only have time for one full day trip, this one takes you to the requisite scenery (waterfall, geyser, etc), thermal lagoon time, and even a very affordable and delicious tomato farm lunch. No tourist traps on this one. We had a group of about 10, and Svennie was a super knowledgeable and easy going guide. Excellent experience with the Glaciers and Waterfalls company that recently developed this specific itinerary.
We had a wonderful time on the Golden Circle, Friðheimar Tomato Farm & Laugarás Lagoon tour with our guide. The tour was informative and we definitely learned a lot about Iceland in the process. The Tomato Farm lunch was outstanding, best tomato soup we have ever had! We very much enjoyed the geothermal spa at the end of the day to relax before heading home. Highly recommend this tour! The staff in the TourDesk office were extremely helpful in arranging for us to join this tour.
We had an amazing day with Glaciers and Waterfalls. I live in Iceland but had never really taken the time to visit these sights properly, so it was extra special to finally go with my family who came to visit me. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and our tour leader was very friendly, relaxed, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. The day felt unhurried, with plenty of time to take in the views and enjoy each stop. We had a super nice bus as well. We all came away very satisfied and with great memories and made some friends. I would happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland, or even locals like myself who haven’t yet explored these places properly. Thank you for the whole Glaciers and Waterfalls Team!! :)
We had an amazing day on the Golden Circle with Lorenzo. It was a small, intimate tour. Lorenzo was super knowledgeable and was a great hang. I’m afraid to take other tours because he set the bar so high!
Our guide Einur (...sorry I'm not 100% on the spelling!) was fantastic! He was fun (and funny!), knowledgeable (as one would expect from a local), an excellent driver, and very helpful. Since there were only 6 of us in total on this trip, he gave us some tips on doing a little extra at some of the stops as we had a bit more time than if we'd been a larger group. He took some photos for us at the greenhouse, and I got to entertain him with explaining why someone from Hawaiʻi would get a degree in Scandinavian studies! The Laugarás Lagoon was amazing. The sodas they make there with herbs they pick locally are delicious. 10/10, would highly recommend to anyone, and would happily do it again some day!
Out guide was great Zaxi ! So funny and we felt safe in the snow . We highly recommend we had only 6 people it was so informative and a wonderful experience.
It was an out of this world experience. The guide was very friendly and informative. The tomato farm was a good one, one perfect Instagram experience. All you can eat tomato soup and the bread was something else. Who knew there was a tomato beer and a tomato icecream...amazing
We did the Golden Circle, Fridheimar Tomato farm, Laugaras Lagoon tour today. Our guide was Sven who was personable, very knowledgeable, and fun. He gave us historical back ground on each of the places we visited. It was an awesome time! The day was ended with a visit to the newest geothermal spa, Laugaras lagoon! I would highly recommend Waterfalls and Glaciers’ Golden Circle tour.

This is a great day tour, combining the best of the golden circle in the morning, lunch amongst the cherry tomato plants and an afternoon relaxing at the Laugarás lagoon. We had a fantastic time with our guide Einar, chatting about the country, its history and landscape. The lagoon has great new facilities and is blissfully uncrowded (for now!). Our 9 year old daughter was able to join (admission to the lagoon is 8yrs+) and loved it. For our first visit to Iceland, this tour gave us a lot to see and varied experiences in one day. I highly recommend it!
