Getting up at 3 am was worth it as it was unique to visit Borobudur at sunrise. Everything was well organised and we had a friendly guide. To add to it, our driver Yovi was very friendly, good-humoured and caring, and he was so fluent in English that we had many interesting conversations which made the long drive a real pleasure.

Top organized tour, without any complications. Communication takes place mainly via WhatsApp! Our driver "Taka" kept us well informed throughout the entire process. Pickup and ride were great!

Excellent tour! The early morning views and sunrise at the top of Borobudur were beautiful! Our driver, Hendra, was on time. He clearly explained what to expect for the whole tour and patiently waited for us at each stop.

Given haze and fog, we didn’t see the sun rise, but it was still worth getting up early to see Borobodur with so few people around. Stunning and other worldly. Prambatham was also incredible although much more crowded and hot. Our guide Jarat was more driver than tour guide, but he was courteous, helpful, and great at navigating the madhouse that is Yogyakarta traffic. If you want someone to guide you around Prambatham, it is not included in this package and you will need to pay for one at the temple.

We very much enjoyed our trip to see Borobudur and Prambanan Temples. Our driver, Praja, was excellent and was a major reason the day went so well. He arrived early for our pickup, was friendly and professional throughout the day, and shared interesting insights about local culture and the sites we were visiting. Borobudur was definitely the highlight! Seeing the sun gradually peek over the horizon from the 9th level of the temple was quite an experience. The guide at the temple was very good, and the breakfast afterward had both Western and local options. Being on the temple before the heat of the day was also quite nice. Prambanan was a more low-key, self-guided experience. We were able to walk around and see the temples at our own pace. Highly recommended!

I visited Prambanan and Borobudur with Moly Eko. He was very knowledgeable and I learned many interesting things not about Yogya only, but about the life in the country in general. It was a very good choice! :-)

Amazing experience. My group was the first to enter the temple in the still dark early morning. The views with the sunrise were absolutely incredible. Our tour guide was great and explained everything very well. My driver Ekko was also great and toured me around Prambanan. Definitely worth getting up early for the sunrise and to beat the crowds and the heat.

We had a great day, even if the sun didn't want to rise (but that's to be expected in the rainy season;)).The organization worked wonderfully.
