Hoteller i nærheden af Bologna Hills: Organic DOCG Wine Tasting & Winery Tour

We traveled to this property via taxi which was great and I would not recommend anyone walk up to it like I’m reading in other reviews because it would be too difficult. The hosts were wonderful and kind and it was lovely to meet them. They gave us about 4 delicious wines and snacks to accompany them. I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed that we did not sit on the terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside which is what is shown in the pictures. I assume it’s because of the very high temperature that day that they had us on the shadier side of the building but as a result we didn’t have a view. Unfortunately, the views of the countryside were my motivation for doing a wine tasting like this because I could have stayed in the city center to drink wine. If you choose this activity I do hope you get the terrace with the beautiful views because these hosts were great.

Beautiful settings in the small village of zola pedrosa. THe tour was interesting but the wine tasting was the “star” of the show. Delicious and stunning. Puchasing a bottle wasn’t overly expensive. Definitely recommended

Incredible wine and fantastic views! We were able to taste 4 great wines, see the vineyards, wine cellar, and watch the sunset over the Bolognese countryside. Would highly recommend!

Frederica was a fantastic host and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the vineyard with her. As she worked at the vineyard making wine herself she had excellent knowledge of the history of the vineyard and surrounding estate and was able to answer any questions we had about the process of how their wine is made according to the owners specific vision. At the end we were invited to sample some of the different wines they produce and even purchase some wine to take away should we wish! Grazie mille Frederica!

We did a wine tour with six friends at Manaresi. We were taken by the friendly guide who could answer all our questions in a fun way. In the end we were allowed to taste 4 wines and we even got tasty snacks with the red wine! All this with a beautiful view during the sunset. In short: a successful tasting and highly recommended!

Had a great time despite the rain. The rain cut the tour of the grounds a bit short, but still had a wonderful experience. Fabio and his wife were very welcoming and warm. After a quick tour of the vineyard, we went inside to see where everything was made - from de-stemming machines, to the vats and bottling. For the tasting, again we had to stay indoors due to the rain. The wines were great and Fabio’s insights on each were very interesting. They even provided a few small sandwiches for each of us as well. I’d recommend this to anyone interested in visiting a local vineyard close to Bologna. We took a short train ride from Bologna Centrale and arrived at the Zola Chiesa stop about 20 min later. From there we walked - it’s about 15 min through a nice neighborhood - but it is uphill. Not a bad walk, just beware it’s uphill on the way there. The Vineyard sits on top of the hill and has beautiful views.
