I had an incredible experience with our tour guide in Athens! Penny was exceptionally patient, attentive, and knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. What stood out most was her genuine passion for Greek history and culture. She took the time to explain everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, never rushing through any part of the experience. In addition, between the heat and walking, she was thoughtful with taking sitting breaks periodically. Penny was always willing to answer questions and made sure I felt included and comfortable. Her enthusiasm for the history of Athens was contagious, and it was clear that she truly enjoyed sharing her knowledge. I travel a fair bit. The Discover Athens Walking City Tour was the first walking tour I have done in all my travels and it was the best way to get a snapshot of the layout of central Athens and the history of the area. Katerina was very knowledgeable and I particularly enjoyed learning about the history of Athens and Greece. Katerina was friendly and engaging, everything she shared caught my interest!
