As usual very friendly and professional

I had a family of 7 and we were lucky to have a private shuttle from the airport to Placencia. It was too easy with booking and payment. As soon as we collected our luggage and passed through customs our driver was there waiting holding a sign with our name on it. The driver was courteous and safe and pointed out plants, trees, and animals along the drive. I enjoyed the friendly conversation and learned a lot about the local culture. Our flight arrived at 6pm. The driver knew that by the time we reached Placencia the grocery stores would be closed. He stopped along the way to give us a chance to grab a few groceries to get us by for the night. That was extremely thoughtful and much appreciated.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with this shuttle service and would not recommend it. The one positive was that the driver was on time for our pickup. However, from the beginning, the experience felt unprofessional. The driver did not introduce himself when he arrived. He then dragged our luggage through muddy rocks, despite there being a paved path right next to where we were standing. The biggest issue was the driving. The driver was traveling well above the speed limit and repeatedly passing other vehicles in what felt like a very reckless manner. We genuinely felt unsafe during the ride, which is especially concerning for an airport transfer. We also paid nearly $300 for this service, so we expected a much higher level of professionalism, comfort, and safety. The driver did make a short personal stop during the trip. While we did not mind the brief stop itself, it added to the overall impression that the service was not focused on providing the experience we expected as paying customers.

Good communications and friendly helpful drivers who were waiting for us at the time and place we booked - we would happily use again.

We had 2 drivers to and from the airport. Kaleem picked us up at the airport to take us to Hopkins. He stopped for us to use the restroom and buy groceries on our way to the resort. Peter took us back to the airport. It was nice to see a familiar face as he was with us when we went snorkeling too! He offered to stop on the way if we needed any food or snacks for our travels but we had already packed food. We will remember that option for future trips though. Darwin was our driver the day we snorkeled! He was so kind to answer all our questions on the way and educated us on the marina.

Julian Transfers is based right in Hopkins, by far the most professional transportation service and vehicle rental place in all of Hopkins. They even monitored our flight number so that they could be at the curb when we got out of the airport. Friendly and knowledgeable driver told us about the area. Be aware that transportation in Belize is non-trivial, with expensive gas, small roads, and a lot of roads are rough and dirt. Julian Transfers knows and handles the environment well.

We had a group of 11 traveling from BZE Airport to our VRBO in Hopkins, and everyone fit comfortably. Travis was a fantastic driver—friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions about Belize. He also let us make a quick stop along the way, which we really appreciated. The ride was smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this service!

I used Julian Tours and Transport multiple times on my Belize trip. Communication was great, everything went smoothly. They were very accommodating, picking us up from our resort on the opposite side of the village and bringing us to the marina. Also used them for transport to the airport from Hopkins.
