Best experience I had while in Colombia Would recommend to anyone visiting Greatly priced for how much you get to do and they also give you snacks and coffee or tea along the way as well!
Sebastian was such a great guide! He managed to guide us through the hike with knowledge, easy, care and great humour. It was an enjoyable and educational tour. I highly recommend!!
This experience was so much fun!!! The hospitality was so impressive! We were offered food, drinks, boots.. I was blown away by how cared for and thought of we were. The hike itself was so fun! We got to learn fun facts about the environment AND I got to see a blue chrysalis butterfly. It was such a cool thing to see. Plus, the pictures look stunning! I’m so happy i made time for this!!
Very beautiful waterfall and location! Very well organized and even gave us time reach meeting point. They gave us snacks we didn’t expect and well very well attentive since the hike was a little hard for us. Thank you to Sebastian and other guide
Fantastic and great fun! Lots of rock climbing using both hands. Good shoes that can get wet are a must.
It is an unmissable experience if you are in Medellín; Alejandro and Johanna are the guides I had, and they did an excellent job throughout the entire journey. P.S.-1: Keep in mind that you are definitely going to get wet on the way, so bring shoes that can get wet and allow you to walk with wet shoes. Pd-2: In case you do not have shoes to get wet, you can rent boots at a cost of 10,000 COP
It was an amazing experience. My tour guides Sebastian and Adrian were friendly and helpful. Water boots were available for rent at an affordable fee which was very convenient. The tour including round trip driving was about 4 hours. The falls was really beautiful and refreshing and for me a bit too cold. Based on the terrain and length, I'd give the hike a difficulty of about 6. You dont have to be physically fit, it's just manuvering the terrain which you got help with and the pace at which we went was not rushed either.
Very beautiful experience with our guides who are exceptional at explaining the natural elements and accompanying the walk. The waterfall is magnificent and the hike is fun.
Wonderful experience! This was a great chance to go to one of the neighboring cities in Medellin and do some hiking to a beautiful waterfall via an ancestral trail. It was a perfect half day trip, starting at 9 am and ending around 2pm. I went with the guide and one couple from PR. The size of the tour was perfect. The trail was not crowded. We say 5-6 other small groups hiking the same trail. The tour guide Alejandro was amazing. He matched our pace well and was patient and helpful through the harder parts of the hike. He pointed out interesting plants and wildlife around us. He spoke great English, too. Your shoes will get wet on this tour. Half of the trail is in / criss crosses with the river. I highly, highly recommend that you rent the almost knee high rain boots at the starting point (10,000 pesos) because the water will be high at some points. I put my sneaker soles into the boots as they were a bit flat (I have a flat arch). The couple that went along didn't have any trouble with the rainboots. They do provide snacks. There is no lunch. I had brought snacks, but the tour guide's snacks and coffee were enough for me. I would describe the hiking as moderate. There are many rocks and boulders you must step on/over as opposed to a clear, dirt trail. We saw dogs on the trail multiple times, and they were unleashed. None of the dogs were agressive or troublesome. I state this just so people are aware.
Alex was an awesome guide very knowledgeable helpful and just all around was a good time they even gave us these little guava candies
